))) Eine schonende, gering inva sive Versorgungsmethode zur Behandlung von Kalkaneusfrakturen setzt sich durch.
Unter der Leitung von Herrn PD Dr. med. Fred Draijer haben Teilnehmer aus 6 europäischen Ländern ihre Ergebnisse der Versorgung mit dem C-Nail präsen-tiert und diskutiert. Die Resultate nach der C-Nail Implantation waren, durch die signifikant geringere Komplikationsrate gegenüber herkömmlichen Verfahren, bestechend gut und nach Meinung
der Teilnehmer sehr überzeugend. Im Ergebnis: contra Platte und pro C-Nail.
Beckenfrakturen nehmen durch die demografische Entwicklung zu. Die Versorgung der Beckenfraktur mit der Omega Platte wurde unter ver-schiedenen Gesichtspunkten präsen-tiert und diskutiert. Im Ergebnis kann das Implantat aufgrund der großen Plattenfläche und der Rigidität die Reposition vollenden und eine wei-tere Protrusion der Fragmente im Bereich des kleinen Beckens verhindern.
Sehr gut bewertet wurde hier auch die Möglichkeit einer Präformierung anhand eines CT Scans der contra late-ralen Seite.

))) Die Platte für distale Radius-frak turen ist ein häufig genutztes Implantat. Daher sind Konstrukteure stets bemüht, eine optimale, perfekt an die Ergonomie angepasste Form zu erreichen. Der distale Teil der Platte kopiert dabei die „watershed“ Linie. Das Gesamtformat ist so ausgerichtet, dass die Platte die distale Radiusfläche der volaren Seite passgenau annimmt.
Diese Platten werden in neun Größen (drei Breiten und drei Längen) und jeweils in rechter und linker Ausführung angeboten. Die weiterentwickelten Platten sind im Vergleich zur ursprüng-lichen Ausführung leicht verstärkt, so dass die Weichteile über der Platte nicht durch die Schraubenköpfe irritiert wer-den können. Die Platte wird entweder mit fixierbaren, winkelstabile Schrauben mit einem Durchmesser von 2,7 mm bzw. 2,4 mm oder mit 2,4 mm polyaxia-len Schrauben fixiert. Mit dem duzuge-hörigen Instrumentarium können alle Repositions- und Implantationsschritte durchgeführt werden.

))) Kürzlich wurden die ersten Ergebnisse mit dem C-Nail ver-öffentlicht. Die Studie bestätigt, dass mit dem Nagel eine äußerst geringe Komplikationsrate erreicht werden kann. Wundrandnekrosen wurden nur in 1,9% der Fälle und Weichteilinfektionen nur in 0,9% der betrachteten Fälle beobachtet!
Die Ergebnisse der Studie mit dem Namen „Introduction of a New Locking Nail for Treatment of Intraarticular Calcaneal Fractures“ sind in der aktuellen Ausgabe des Journal of Orthopaedic Trauma nachzulesen. Autoren der Studie

))) Die modulare UNIC Schulter-prothese ist ein Plattform-System bei dem die gleichen Schäfte (zementiert, zement-frei, HA-beschichtet oder Traumaschäfte) wahlweise als Hemi-, anatomische Total- oder Reverse-Prothese verwendet wer-den können. Außerdem besteht die Möglichkeit, ohne Schaftwechsel eine anatomische Prothese zu einer reversen Prothese umzubauen. Dafür sind insge-samt nur zwei Trays notwendig, die mit allen notwendigen Instrumentenbestückt sind, um uneingeschränkt zwischen einem deltopectoralen oder lateralen Zugang zu entscheiden. Die horizontalen Marker auf den Raspeln und Schäften helfen dem Operateur, die Prothese einfach in der Höhe zu justieren.
Bei der anatomischen Prothese stellt das Verbindungsmodul durch die 4 möglichen medio-lateralen Platzierungspositionen im Schaft und den 4 möglichen anteri-or-posterioren Positionen im Humerus-kopf 16 Platzierungspositionen zur Verfügung. Durch die zusätzliche 6° Justiermöglichkeiten des Verbindungs-moduls kann das Rotations zentrum mit insgesamt 80 möglichen Positionen best-möglich bestimmt werden. Die convexe Oberfläche des Polyethylen-Glenoid spart Knochen, konvertiert Scherkräfte in Druck kräfte und führt zu einer guten Stabilität.
Die langen Schäfte der Revisions-prothese stehen als zementierte und als HA-beschichtete Variante zur Verfügung, wobei die Helixklinge der reversen Glenoidplatte viel Knochensubstanz spart. Verglichen mit den Zapfendesigns der meisten Mitbewerber ist lediglich ein kleiner Schlitz ist notwendig.
