Edgenuity Math and Spanish Lesson Plans

Students will log into www.edgenuity.com on Tuesdays

and Thursdays They should have their usernames and

passwords for this. If Not, please message me for

username.

For 7th Grade: You will need to complete 1 hour in Math

class per day.

Same for 9th Grade Spanish: You will need to Complete 1

hour in Spanish Class per day.

I will be monitoring progress and also keeping in touch.

P.E. Workout

Monday

Warm up-20 jumping jacks

Stretch-Dynamic stretching (i.e. a-walks, quad pulls, hamstring pulls, toe touches)

Strength Exercises-50 pushups, 50 air squats, 50 sit-ups and 25 Burpees. Write down in your journal.

When exercises are completed walk around your workout area for 5 minutes to cool down.

Tuesday

Warm up-20 jumping jacks

Stretch-Dynamic stretching (i.e. a-walks, quad pulls, hamstring pulls, toe touches)

Cardiovascular Exercises- High knees for 2 minutes, rest for 1 min., Run in place for 2 minute, rest 1

min., 75 jumping jacks , rest 1 min., 2 feet jumps (back and forth) 30 seconds, 2 feet jumps (side to side)

30 seconds, 2 feet alternate jumps 1 minute, rest 2 min., and finally 2:30-minute wall sit.

When exercises are completed walk around your workout area for 5 minutes to cool down.

Wednesday

Warm up-20 jumping jacks

Flexibility- A walks for 1 minute, Quad pulls for 1 minute each leg, hamstring pulls 1 minute for each

leg, toe touches for 1 minute, high knees for 30 seconds, butt kicks for 30 seconds.

Do 3 sets of this exercise.

Remember to do these exercises slowly. It helps remove the soreness from the body.

When exercises are completed walk around your workout area for 5 minutes to cool down.

Thursday

Free Play- Walk for 20 minutes, play hide and seek with your family, play 20 minutes of any sport, 120

jumping jacks, get off the couch and play for 20 minutes.

This week I want a 1 paragraph entry on your favorite exercise and or sport activity.

Make sure that you are keeping a journal on what you are doing during the week. The journal is what I

am going to grade.

If there are any other exercises your wanting to try add them to your routine.

You are doing great during this time. Make yourself better every day. If there are any questions,

Go to remote fitness, then to mobility session #3. It is about a 20-minute workout.

When exercises are completed walk around your workout area for 5 minutes to cool down.

Wednesday

Warm up-100 jumping jacks

Stretch-Dynamic stretching (i.e. a-walks, quad pulls, hamstring pulls, toe touches)

Login to your PLT4M Account.

Go to the Remote fitness, then to the fitness challenge, and do 1-minute sit up challenge

When exercises are completed walk around your workout area for 5 minutes to cool down.

Thursday

Read “The Power of Fitness” article in the Assignment Tab. Answer the following questions:

1. What are the positive consequences of fitness in PE/PLT4M in terms of classroom behavior?

2. What do you think the role of physical fitness and exercise should be within schools?

Make sure that you are keeping a journal on what you are doing during the week. The journal is what I

am going to grade. Also, you need to be logging your exercises on to PLT4M. If you cannot log

exercises on PLT4M, take a picture and send it to my email or text me.
