The Kongresshaus Stadthalle Heidelberg is the flagship of Heidelberg‘s meeting and congress locations: 13 event rooms offer space for meetings, congresses and events from 10 to 1,250 attendants on an area of 2,500 square meters. With its magnificent architecture from the Gründerzeit and Art Nouveau periods, it creates a stylish framework for meetings, congresses, balls, banquets, receptions and concerts. The Großer Saal (great hall) with its generous surround-ing gallery is the facility‘s jewel. Smaller rooms like the ballroom or the chamber music room are historical ornaments as well. The Weisse Flotte Heidelberg with its six ships and the ferry Liselotte von der Pfalz is the largest river shipping company in South-Western Germany. The fleet‘s flagship, put into service in 2016, is licensed for 600 persons. The MS „Königin Silvia“ is equipped with a culture stage, air conditioning and a lift. The Weisse Flotte can transport 2600 persons at once. The ships have an additional benefit for orga-nizations of all kinds, since they are perfect as floating presentation, conference and meeting sites. Meals on board are prepared freshly from the shipping company‘s own on-board kitchen. The fleet‘s catchment area goes from Stuttgart to St. Goar am Rhein.

Old Town Round TripCrooked alleys and dream-like squares, interesting museums and hidden galleries: Heidelberg‘s Old Town is multi-faceted. The tour culminates in a ride up to the Philosophenweg, where the scholars used to take walks to relax their thoughts – today, the path beckons with unique views of the city, the river, the Alte Brücke (Old Bridge), the Castle and the Königstuhl (King‘s Seat), which is nearly 600 meters high.

PBUS Bauhaus / Crowne Plaza (up to 20 buses)

The bus parking place Bauhaus / Crowne Plaza is located near many hotels (e.g.: Crowne Plaza Heidelberg City Centre, Der Europäische Hof Heidelberg, Holiday Inn Express Heidelberg City Centre, The Heidelberg Exzellenz Hotel, Leonardo Hotel Heidelberg City Center) and ideally situated at the start of the pedestrian zone. From here, you can quickly reach the mooring point of the white fleet, the Kongresshaus Stadthalle Heidelberg (convention center) or start your stay with a shopping trip through the stores along the Hauptstraße (Main Street). You will find several gastronomy offers, supermarkets, banks and much else at and around the bus parking place Bauhaus / Crowne Plaza.

PBUS Castle (up to 10 buses)

Touring coaches must only drive up to the Castle after booking a spot / exception permit subject to a fee. If parking places are still free, you can book them at www.reiseshop-heidelberg.de or by email at [email protected].

Immediate bookings are possible starting at 4 pm of the previous day or on the same day by calling +49 172-6200063 if parking places are available.The total length of the buses for driving up is limited to 14 m. Driving up to the Castle between 7 pm and 8 am is not permitted. Individual exception permits are available from the traffic management office at +49 6221-5830500.

PBUS Old Town / Karlstor (Carl‘s Gate) (up to 15 buses)

We recommend using the bus parking place Karlstor / Old Town for Old Town walks or guided tours. This parking place is located at the upper end of the Old Town, at the end of the famous pedestrian zone right behind the Karlstor at the rapid transit station. If you have booked a Walking Tour of the Old Town, the bus can ideally stop briefly at the Neckarmünzplatz, only 300 m away, for you to get on or off and then contin-ue on to the parking place.
