2 FunktionDer pneumatische Schaltschrank-Multipol besteht aus einerAluminiumplatte mit Gewindebohrungen und Dichtungen.Das Gert dichtet pneumatische Leitungsfhrungen amSchaltschrank und das Schaltschrankinnere in explosionsf-higer Atmosphre mit IP65 ab.

3 Anwendung Bestimmungsgem dient der Pneumatische Schalt-

schrank-Multipol dem gemeinsamen Anschluss von Versor-gungs- und Arbeitsleitungen der Ventilinsel CPV10 beimEinbau in einen Schaltschrank.

Der Pneumatische Schaltschrank-Multipol ist geeignet zumAnbau an Schaltschrnke mit den Schutzarten Ex e undEx tD.

Die Gerte knnen unter den angegebenen Betriebsbedin-gungen in den Zonen 1 und 2 explosionsfhiger Gasat-mosphren sowie in den Zonen 21 und 22 explosionsfhi-ger Staubatmosphren eingesetzt werden.

Kennzeichnung X: Besondere Bedingungen Das Gert selbst erzeugt keine Wrme. Die Oberflchen-

temperatur wird allein von Mediums- und Umgebungs-temperatur bestimmt.

Einbau nur in Gehuse mit einer Wandstrke von minde-stens 1,25 mm.

Wenn keine Ventilinsel angeschlossen ist, mssen diepneumatischen Anschlsse mit Blindstopfen verschlos-sen werden.

Bei Austausch bzw. Demontage des Multipols mssendie Dichtungen ausgetauscht werden.

Unebener Sitz der Dichtung kann den Zndschutz desGehuses verringern.Stellen Sie sicher, dass die Dichtung, die zur Schalt-schrankwand hin abdichtet, eben und flach angebrachtist. Multipol danach entsprechend der Montage-anleitung montieren.

Verwenden Sie nur bercksichtigtes Zubehr. Bei Verwendung von bercksichtigtem Zubehr mit einer

niedrigeren ATEX-Kennzeichnung verringert sich die Kenn-zeichnung des Gesamtsystems entsprechend.

Verwenden Sie das Gert im Originalzustand ohne jeglicheeigenmchtige Vernderung. Durch nicht vom Herstellerausgefhrte Eingriffe am Gert erlischt die Zulassung.

Reparaturen sind nicht mglich.

4 Inbetriebnahme

Einbau und Inbetriebnahme nur von qualifiziertem Fach-personal, gem Beschreibung und Montageanleitung.

Beachten Sie die Angaben auf dem Typenschild. Beachten Sie die Betriebsbedingungen und die Angaben in

der Beschreibung. Halten Sie alle geltenden nationalen und internationalen

Vorschriften ein.Falls eine Ventilinsel mit Trenn- oder mit Reserveplatten ange-schlossen ist oder falls keine Ventilinsel angeschlossen ist: Verschlieen Sie alle pneumatischen Anschlsse mit Blind-

stopfen.

5 Betrieb Beachten Sie die Betriebsbedingungen. Halten Sie stets die zulssigen Grenzwerte ein.

6 Wartung und Pflege Reparaturen sind nicht mglich.Bei Austausch oder Demontage des Pneumatischen Schalt-schrank-Multipols: Erneuern Sie stets die umlaufende Dichtung.Falls die Ventilinsel vom Pneumatischen Schaltschrank-Multi-pol entfernt wird: Verschlieen Sie alle pneumatischen Anschlsse mit Blind-

2 FunctionThe pneumatic multiple connector plate consists of an alu-minium plate with threaded holes and seals. The device sealspneumatic lines at the control cabinet as well as the inside ofthe control cabinet in potentially explosive atmospheres withIP65.

3 Application The pneumatic multiple connector plate has been designed

for the common connection of supply and work lines ofvalve terminals type CPV10 when these are fitted in a con-trol cabinet.

The pneumatic multiple connector plate is suitable formounting onto control cabinets with protection classes Exe and Ex tD.

The devices can be used under the stated operating condi-tions in zones 1 and 2 of potentially explosive gas atmo-spheres and in zones 21 and 22 of potentially explosivedust atmospheres.

If labelled with X: special conditions The device does not generate heat. The surface temper-

ature is determined only by the medium and ambienttemperatures.

Can be fitted only in a housing with a wall thickness ofat least 1.25 mm.

If no valve terminal is connected, the pneumatic connec-tions must be closed with blanking plugs.

The seals must be replaced when replacing or dismant-ling the multiple connector plate.

Uneven seat of the seal can reduce the ignition protec-tion of the housing.Make sure that the gasket that seals the switching cab-inet wall is attached in an even and flat manner.Then mount the multi-pin plug corresponding to theassembly instructions.

Use only accessories intended for this device. When relevant accessories with a lower ATEX specification

are used, the rating of the overall system is reduced ac-cordingly.

Use the product in its original condition without undertak-ing any modifications. The right of use will be withdrawn ifmodifications are made by the user.

No user-serviceable parts.

4 Commissioning

Fitting and commissioning must be carried out only byqualified personnel in accordance with the user manualand the assembly instructions.

Observe the specifications on the type plate. Note the operating conditions and the specifications in the

manual. Comply with applicable national and international

guidelines.If a valve terminal with separator plates or blanking plates isconnected or no valve terminal is connected: Seal all pneumatic connections with blanking plugs.

5 Operation Observe the operating conditions. Always observe the maximum permitted limits.

6 Service and maintenance No user-serviceable parts.When replacing or dismantling the pneumatic control cabinetmultipin: Always replace the rotational seal.If the valve terminal is removed from the pneumatic controlcabinet multipin: Seal all pneumatic connections with blanking plugs.
