das Jahr hat gerade angefangen und schon begrüßt uns die größte internationale

Fachmesse für den Hobby-, Bastel- und Künstlerbedarf mit tollen neuen Ideen und

Möglichkeiten kreativ zu werden. Die Creativeworld 2017 bietet neue Impulse sich privat

und beruflich auszuleben und sich mit Experten auszutauschen. Das Thema

Nachhaltigkeit sollte auch an einem so freudebringenden Event eine Rolle spielen. Denn

umweltbewusstes Handeln bedeutet, dass wir uns Gedanken über die Herkunft des

Materials machen müssen. Der FSC vereinfacht dem Verbraucher mit seinem

Zertifizierungssystem den Überblick zu behalten und ermöglicht, sich mit gutem Gewissen

seiner Kreativität hinzugeben. FSC-zertifizierte Produkte fördern verantwortungsvolle

Waldwirtschaft, bei der Mensch und Natur im Einklang sind und antworten auf die

Nachhaltigkeitsanforderungen seitens der Verbraucher.

Über 50% der Verbraucher in Deutschland erkennen das FSC-Zeichen (März 2016). Die

Kennzeichnung der jeweiligen Produkte durch die FSC-Warenzeichen ermöglicht dabei

den Konsumenten auf den ersten Blick nachhaltige Produkte zu erkennen und

entsprechend entscheiden zu können.

Diese Green Pages zeigen Ihnen, welche Aussteller auf der Creative-, Paper- und

Christmasworld 2017 über ein gültiges FSC-Zertifikat verfügen und FSC-zertifizierte

Produkte liefern können. Spannend: Mehr als 170 Aussteller bieten bereits FSC-

zertifizierte Produkte an. Weltweit sind heute mehr als 196 Millionen Hektar Wald in 80

Ländern und mehr als 55.000 Betriebe in der Produktkette zertifiziert. 600

Endkundenhändler weltweit nutzen die FSC-Warenzeichen in Milliarden-Auflage und

sorgen so für eine steigende Bekanntheit des FSC-Zeichens.

The new year has just begun, and the largest international trade fair for hobbies, arts &

crafts and artists requisites is already welcoming us with great new ideas and possibilities

to become creative. The Creativeworld 2017 offers impulses to run free in private and

professional life and to interact with experts. Sustainability should also play an important

role in such a joyous event. We need to think about the social and environmental

consequences of the required material. The ideal place to do so: this year’s Creativeworld

2017 in Frankfurt.

The certification system of FSC makes it easier for the consumer to get an overview, and

enables to give oneself up to his creativeness with a clear conscience. FSC certified

products support responsible forestry in which man and nature are in harmony. Therefore,

FSC is the answer to sustainability requests from consumers for regrowing materials.

More than 50% of the consumers recognize the FSC trademark (March 2016). The

conscious consumer pays attention to responsible origins of paper-based products and

does not wish to engage in forest exploitation. Labeling products with the FSC trademarks

makes it easy to spot sustainable products at first site.

These Green Pages point out, which exhibitors at the Creative, Paper- & Christmasworld

2017 hold a valid FSC certificate and are able to deliver FSC certified products. Excitingly,

you can find many FSC certified products at more than 170 exhibitors this year! Worldwide

191 million hectares of forests in 80 countries are FSC certified and 55.000 companies in

the chain of custody are FSC certified. 600 retailers use the FSC trademarks in billions of

editions and doing so increases the awareness of FSC.

Vom Wald zum Produkt

Überprüfung des Forstbetriebes

Unabhängige Zertifizierer überprüfen jährlich im FSC-Forstbetrieb, ob die Standards

eingehalten und vor Ort umgesetzt werden. Das FSC-Zertifikat erhalten nur

verantwortungsvoll bewirtschaftete Wälder, die nach den Umwelt-, Wirtschafts- und

Sozialstandards des FSC geprüft wurden.

Kontrolle der Verarbeiter und Händler

Unabhängige Zertifizierer überprüfen im Verarbeitungsbetrieb oder beim Händler, ob die

FSC-Standards eingehalten und umgesetzt werden. Ist dies der Fall, erhält das

Unternehmen das FSC-Zertifikat. Nur Holz oder Holzprodukte aus überprüften

Unternehmen dürfen mit dem FSC-Siegel gekennzeichnet werden.

From forest to product Audit of the forest operation

Independent certifiers yearly verify that the forest operation adheres to and implements the

FSC certification requirements. Only responsibly managed forests, which are FSC certified

according to the environmental, economic and social standards, will receive the FSC

certificate.

Audit of manufacturers and retailers

Independent certifiers verify if the standards are observed and implemented by the

manufacturer or retailer. If this applies, the company achieves the FSC-certificate. Only

certified companies have the right to label FSC products.

Die FSC-Warenzeichen

Überprüfung der Kennzeichnung

Die zugelassenen Zertifizierer geben die ordnungsgemäße Verwendung des FSC-Logos

mit Angabe der Lizenznummer auf Produkten frei. Zusätzlich wird sichergestellt, dass die

jeweilige FSC-Kennzeichnung, die aus dem Rohstoffeinsatz hervorgeht, auf dem Produkt

verwendet wird.

Überprüfung der Werbung mit dem FSC-Zeichen

In Werbematerialien wie Katalogen oder auf Webseiten dürfen Verarbeiter und Händler mit

einer eigenen Nummer für FSC-zertifizierte Produkte werben.

FSC 100%: Das Holz dieses Produktes stammt ausschließlich aus FSC-zertifiziertem Wald. Dieses Holz muss von nicht-zertifiziertem Holz stets getrennt gelagert, gehandelt und verarbeitet werden. Eine Vermischung darf nicht stattfinden.

FSC RECYCLED: Für dieses Produkt wurde ausschließlich Gebrauchtholz oder Altpapier verwendet. Kennzeichnungsrechter entstehen durch „Post-consumer“-Material - beispielsweise ein Holz aus Sperrmüll. Bei Papier wird auch Industrieabfall aus der Weiterverarbeitung anerkannt.

FSC MIX: Bei der Produktion wurde Holz aus FSC-zertifizierten Wäldern, kontrollierten Quellen und Recyclingmaterial verwendet. Bei Holz wird FSC-zertifiziertes Material oder Post-Consumer-Recycling entweder zu mindestens 70% eingesetzt, bei Papier auch Pre-Consumer-Recycling, oder es wird eine mindestens äquivalente Menge im Prozess verwendet, um die gekennzeichneten Waren herzustellen.



The FSC trademarks

Monitoring of the labeling

The accredited certifiers monitor and approve the correct use of the FSC labels with the

license code on products. Only such products are labeled that meet the requirements in

relation to the input of raw materials coming from well- managed forests, controlled sources

or recycling.

Monitoring of advertising with the FSC label

In advertising material such as catalogues or websites, manufacturers and retailers are

only allowed to advertise using their own license number.

FSC 100%: This product contains 100% material from FSC certified forests. The wood has to be strictly separated from non-certified material in storage, processing and trade. No mixing is allowed.

FSC RECYCLED: This product contains only recycled fibers. Claim contributing material must have served its purpose for which is was produced, for example timber from demolition debris- In case of paper also industrial waste of secondary processing is recognized.

FSC MIX: To manufacture this product, timber from well-managed FSC certified forests, controlled wood avoiding unacceptable practices as well as reclaimed material has been used. In the production of timber products the input of FSC certified or post-consumer reclaimed material or a combination of both was at least 70%, in the case of paper also pre-consumer reclaimed material is accepted, or an equivalent input amount was purchased to produce this labelled product.
