LDMO Bylaws Membership: The Board may consist of up to thirteen (13), and up to twelve (12) shall be

elected in accordance with the Societies Act. The Board shall also include one appointed representative from Council. Whether the Director is elected or appointed, at no time shall there be more than one (1) Director representing the same organization.

Mandate: An organization to provide direction and proactive leadership that encourages the private and public sectors to undertake programs and projects that will promote and foster growth related to the visitor experience in Lethbridge.

Meetings Held: The Board shall hold a minimum of six (6) board meetings per year. The Board shall determine the time, manner, and place of Board meetings at the first meeting following the annual appointment of its members. The Annual General Meeting of the Society shall be held within four (4) months of the fiscal year end and no later than the 30th Day of April in each year.
