Job description The new construction of the wharfage consists of a
combined wall made of tubes, Ø 1.820 mm and 37 to
40 m long, together with sheet piles PU-20, 27 m long. To
support the combined wall, GFS has drilled self-drilling-
bolts as follows:
• 86 pieces of self-drilling-bolts 117/64 with a casing
crown Ø 350 mm and up to a single length of
52 to 63 m
• 7 pieces self-drilling-bolts 103/62 with a casing crown
Ø 300 mm and up to a single length of 42 to 45 m
Design was developed by GFS in accordance with the
latest standards and Eurocodes.
Examination of anchors was carried out with a test load
of 200 to 325 tons.
A Hütte HBR 609 was used together with a drill mast
type DM260 and a hydraulic hammer type Eurodrill
HD8032. Handling of cases was done with a hydraulic
double acting manipulator HDM 89-220. This
manipulator has a range for drilling pipes Ø 89-220 mm
with a single length of 2 to 6 m.
