Liebe Skitourenbegeisterte, werte Gäste!Am 12.02.2012 ist es wieder soweit: zum vierten Mal kämpft das Starterfeldder richtig Durchtrainierten in den Kategorien Senior und Junior beimAhrntaler Skitourenrennen um den Sieg im klassischen Stil.Die Abgeschiedenheit der Ahrntaler Bergkulisse mit den idyllischen Ausblickenentschädigt für den harten Wechsel zwischen anstrengenden Aufstiegen und mutigen Abfahrten,zwischen „Felle runter, rein in die Bindung” und „Felle ankleben, in die Stöcke, los”.Der Weg ist mühsam, der Titel begehrt; denn dieses Einzel Rennen stellt nicht nur einenwichtigen Bestandteil im Südtiroler Winterveranstaltungskalender dar,sondern hat sich Dank des großen Einsatzes des Organisationskomitees mittlerweile auchim Rennkalender des Internationalen Skitourenverbandes etabliert undzählt sowohl zum Italienpokal als auch zum Südtirol Cup.Diese positive Entwicklung verdient in touristischer und sportlicher Hinsicht große Anerkennung,wobei ein besonders dickes Dankeschön an die zahlreichen Mithelfer an der Strecke – wie zum Beispielan die fleißigen Strecken-Spurer – geht, ohne deren gute Vorbereitung und Organisationsolch ein Saisonhöhepunkt gar nicht möglich wäre.
Ich wünsche allen Beteiligten die optimale Spur und einen spannenden,erfolgreichen Wettkampf im Ahrntal!

Il prossimo 12.02.2012 saranno di nuovo in pista:per la quarta volta la schiera di sportivi ben allenati, appartenenti alle categorie Senior e Junior,si darà battaglia per la vittoria nella corsa in stile classico.L’affascinante e silenzioso scenario alpino della Valle Aurina con i suoi paesaggi idilliaci,ricompensa largamente l’alternarsi di faticose salite ed audaci discese,tra continui cambi per montare e togliere le pelli di foca e per adattare gli attacchi degli sci.Il percorso è faticoso, ma la vittoria è ambita, poiché questa gara individuale non solo rappresenta unimportante appuntamento nel calendario delle manifestazioni sportive dell’Alto Adige, ma, grazie al generosoimpegno del Comitato organizzatore, si è ormai affermata anche nel panorama delle gare dellaFederazione internazionale di scialpinismo e fa quindi parte sia della “Coppa Italia” che della “Südtirol Cup”.Questa positiva evoluzione merita un grande riconoscimento sia sotto il profilo turistico che sportivo,nonché un meritato ringraziamento a tutti coloro che prestano la propria collaborazione lungoil percorso – come ad esempio gli instancabili battipista – senza il cui lavoro di preparazioneed organizzazione un evento di tale importanza non sarebbe certo fattibile.A tutti i partecipanti auguro che sappiano trovare la traccia ideale,per poter così gustare in Valle Aurina una competizione ricca di emozioni e di successi.
