das neue

IBM FlashSystem 9100

ist als NVMe System auf dem Markt mit Leistungsdaten der Enterprise Klasse und Ausbaumöglichkeiten in den PB-Bereich.

Es handelt sich um ein reines Flashsystem, HDD’s wurden nicht mehr verwendet, mit den Fähigkeiten, die 9100 zu clustern sowie Hochverfügbarkeit und Hyperswap zu betreiben.

Weitere besondere Merkmale sind der Einsatz von Data Reduction Pools, Deduplication, inline Hardware-Compression mit IBM Garantie, Virtualisierung u.a.m.
