Ob klassische Weinflasche in zylindrischer Form, schlanke Schlegelflasche oder aus-drucksstarke Wappenflasche: Die selfLAN 520-650 unterstreicht die Charaktere der ver-schiedenen Flaschen aus der Wein- und Sekt-kellerei Ostrau GmbH mit entsprechenden Etiketten. Die Anlagen in dem jungen und leistungsfähigen Abfüllbetrieb für Wein und Spirituosen im sächsischen Ostrau füllen 104 Millionen Flaschen im Jahr. Mit der neuen Etikettiermaschine selfLAN 520-650 von LANGGUTH werden Haftetiketten als Vor-der-, Rücken- und Halsringetiketten auf die Flaschen gebracht. Dabei ist Flexibilität ge-fragt. Denn das Unternehmen liefert Produkte in 33 Länder. Auf Wunsch der Kunden werden die Rückenetiketten in der jeweiligen Län-dersprache konfektioniert. Das funktioniert schnell und einfach, weil die Mitarbeiter die selfLAN mit nur wenigen Handgriffen auf ein anderes Etikettenformat umrüsten können. Die Flaschenzentrierung in der Maschine stellt sicher, dass jedes Etikett präzise plat-ziert wird. So bietet jede Flasche der Wein- und Sektkellerei Ostrau GmbH beides: Gau-menfreude und Augenweide.

No matter whether a classical cylindrical wine bottle, a slim “Schlegel” bottle or an expressive bottle with relief emblem is con-cerned: The selfLAN 520-650 underlines the characters of the different bottles from the Wein- und Sektkellerei Ostrau GmbH by decorating labels. In the young and capable filling company for wine and spirit drinks lo-cated in Eastern Germany 104 million bottles are filled per year. The new labeller selfLAN 520-650 from LANGGUTH applies front and back labels as well as neck ring labels using self-adhesive technology. Flexibility is very important as the company delivers the prod-ucts to 33 countries. On customer’s request the back labels state the national language. This can be effected easily as the employees can adapt the selfLAN in a few simple steps to another label size. The bottle centering within the machine guarantees the exact positioning of all labels. Consequently, each bottle provides pleasures of the palate as well as an attractive design.

Ein Urgestein verlässt das Unternehmen: Helmut Thihatmar geht nach 40 Jahren bei LANGGUTH in den wohlverdienten Ruhestand. Die Geschäftsleitung lud die Belegschaft in das Historische Brauhaus Klute in Havixbeck zu einer Abschiedsfeier ein. Ein lachendes und ein weinendes Auge waren im Gesicht des leiten-den Angestellten zu sehen, als er ein besonderes Abschiedsgeschenk entgegen nahm. Die Mitarbeiter seiner Unit überreichten Herrn Thi-hatmar einen Haftetikettierspender mit Fotos und die Kollegen einen Korb mit Westfälischen Spezialitäten. Helmut Thihatmar engagierte sich in seinem Berufsleben stark für die Weiterentwicklung der Haft-etikettiermaschinen.Helmut Thihatmar blickt auf eine erfolgreiche Karriere bei LANG-GUTH zurück: 1972 begann er als Maschinenschlosser – mit einem per Handschlag geschlossenen Arbeitsvertrag. 1975 wuchs sein Ver-antwortungsbereich und er wurde zum Sicherheitsbeauftragten er-nannt. Aufgrund seiner überragenden Fähigkeiten stieg er 1980 zum Werkmeister auf und übernahm kurze Zeit später die Leitung der ge-samten Produktion. Seit Mai 2000 war er leitender Angestellter und seit September 2008 wurde ihm im Rahmen der Umstrukturierung die Leitung der Unit selfLAN/hotLAN übertragen. Helmut Thihatmar freut sich gemeinsam mit seiner Frau Maria auf viel gemeinsame Freizeit. Maria Thihatmar war seit 1992 die beliebte „Kantinen-Fee“ bei LANGGUTH.

Lange bei LANGGUTHA long professional career has come to an end: After 40 years with LANGGUTH Helmut Thihatmar started his well-deserved retire-ment. The management invited the employees to a farewell party which took place in the traditional restaurant Brauhaus Klute loca-ted in Havixbeck.He went to work with pleasure and therefore he had mixed feelings when he received a special farewell present. The team members of his unit handed over a self-adhesive dispenser decorated with photos and the colleagues gave him a basket of Westphalian specialities. During his professional career Helmut Thihatmar had a high commitment to the further development of self-adhesive labellers. Helmut Thihatmar looks back on a successful career at LANGGUTH: He started to work in 1972 as a machinist – his employment contract was sealed by handshake only. In 1975 he took more responsibility and became safety representative. Due to his superior abilities he had the possibility of promotion and began to work as shop foreman in 1980. Only shortly thereafter he became production supervisor. Since May 2000 he was executive employee and owing to the restruc-turing process he took the lead of the unit selfLAN/hotLAN since September 2008. Helmut Thihatmar is looking forward to joint leisure time with his wife Maria. Maria Thihatmar was much appreciated by her colleagues at LANGGUTH as she was responsible for canteen operation since 1992.

Die wetLAN 110-212 bringt die Etiketten mit einer Leistung von 200 Etiket-tierungen pro Minute präzise auf die ver-schiedenen Gläser auf. Dazu wurden zwei Gurtstationen gegenüberliegend in der Ma-schine angeordnet. Eine der Stationen ist in der Geschwindigkeit stufenlos regulierbar. Auf diese Weise wird das Gefäß in Drehung versetzt, um die Positionen des Produkt- etiketts und des Garantieverschlussetiketts aufeinander abzustimmen. Diese Konstruk-tion garantiert eine Positioniertoleranz von + / - 15 Millimeter aus der Nennlage.

In ad-dition to the wraparound label a seal label is applied as well which underlines the pu-rity of the fruit spread. The wetLAN 110-212 applies the labels precisely onto the jars with a capacity of 200 labellings per minu-te. For this two belt stations were arranged within the machine located opposite each other. The speed of one station is steplessly adjustable. The container is therefore ro-tated in order to define the position of the product label and the seal label which are oriented to each other. This design guaran-tees a positioning tolerance of + / - 15 milli-metres from nominal position.

In Rumänien werden Aerosoldosen mit Sprays für verschiedene Anwendungen zum Beispiel in der Bau- und Autoindustrie be-füllt. LANGGUTH liefert zwei wetLAN 110-206 für die Etikettierung der Aerosoldosen. Das deutsche Schwesterunternehmen Den Braven Aerosols GmbH & Co. KG, das be-reits erfolgreich mit sechs selfLAN-Maschi-nen arbeitet, hatte die Etikettiertechnik von LANGGUTH empfohlen.

Den Braven Romania Comex srl from Ro-mania is a subsidiary of the international group Den Braven Sealants B.V. In Romania aerosol cans are filled with sprays for wide-ly differing applications as for example for the construction and automotive industry. LANGGUTH delivers two wetLAN 110-206 for the labelling of aerosol cans. The Ger-man affiliated company Den Braven Aero-sols GmbH & Co. KG, where already six self- LAN labellers are working successfully, has recommended the labelling technology from LANGGUTH.

Auch die vom Kunden gewünschte Sonderspannung von 230 V/60 Hz realisier-ten die Ingenieure von LANGGUTH. Die Ma-schine bringt die Rundumetiketten mit einer Leistung von 300 Etiketten pro Minute auf. Mit ihrer kompakten Bauweise, der einfachen Bedienbarkeit und der hohen Effizienz über-zeugt die Nassleim-Etikettiermaschine die Verantwortlichen bei dem familiengeführten Nahrungsmittelkonzern auf ganzer Linie. Probelauf und ausführliche Tests, erfolg-reich durchgeführt von LANGGUTH America Ltd., gaben den Weg frei für die Auslieferung an Victoria Fine Foods.

LANGGUTH adapted the machine to the va-lid CSA/UL prescriptions. Furthermore the special voltage of 230 V/60 Hz requested by the customer was realized by LANGGUTH specialists. The machine applies wrap-around labels with a capacity of 300 labels per minute. Due to the compact design, easy handling and high efficiency the wet glue labeller has convinced the responsible ma-nagers of the family-owned food producer completely. LANGGUTH America Ltd. tested the labeller carefully and after success-ful checkup it was shipped to Victoria Fine Foods.

Lackieren, Markieren, Reinigen, Pflegen – die Aerosoldosen der Motip Dupli GmbH enthalten verschiedene Sprays für diese Zwecke. Haftetiketten, auf denen „drauf-steht, was drin ist“, appliziert die selfLAN 510-361 von LANGGUTH auf die Dosen. Die Besonderheit dieses Linearläufers besteht in einer motorischen Trägerfolienaufwick-lung und einem zusätzlichen Abwickler mit Anklebehilfe – summa summarum verfügt die Maschine über einen Spender und zwei Abwickler.

Painting, marking, cleaning, maintaining – the aerosol cans from Motip Dupli GmbH contain various sprays for these applica-tions. Self-adhesive labels in line with the motto 'Promises should be kept' are ap-plied onto the cans by a selfLAN 510-361 from LANGGUTH. The special design of this linear labeller consists of a motorized backing film roll-on device and an additio-nal roll-off device with a stick-on unit – all in all the machine is equipped with one dis-penser and two roll-off devices.

Aktuell baut der Lebensmittelkonzern im nigerianischen Buschland ein neues Werk für Konserven-nahrung. LANGGUTH liefert dorthin zwei Heißleim-Etikettiermaschinen vom Typ hotLAN 310-445, welche die Konserven mit einem Rundumetikett versehen. Mit einer Höchstleistung von 1.000 Etiketten pro Minute ist der Maschinentyp ein echter Renner. Ein Verkaufsrenner ist die hotLAN ebenfalls. Denn das Partnerunternehmen National Food Industries Co. Ltd. aus Saudi-Arabien setzt bereits fünf Heißleim-Maschi-nen von LANGGUTH ein.

The company Oriental Food Industry Limi-ted located in Nigeria appreciates the futu-re-oriented technology from LANGGUTH. Actually the international food company builds a new plant for canned food in the Nigerian bushland. LANGGUTH delivers two hotmelt labellers type hotLAN 310-445 which equip the cans with wraparound la-bels. Due to the maximum speed of 1.000 labels per minute this machine type is a really fast mover. The partner company Na-tional Food Industries Co. Ltd. from Saudi Arabia is already using five hotmelt label-lers from LANGGUTH and recommended therefore the well-proven technology.
