Attendees were officers Xiaoxia Li, Shawn Huggins, Regan Lewis, Alyssa Gatewood, Joshua Freudenhammer, Mackenzie Lewis, advisor Lindsey Welsch and Emily Reno. Honors Program Graduation Spring 2016 Alex Hwang, Emily Reno, Chloe Burns, Selena Resendiz-Gallegos, Nathaly Cifuentes-Riaño, Amy Krause, Connor Jones, Kelsie Parrett, Dasy Resendiz, Cinthia Ebertz, Thomas Wyss, Mary Anne Pereira Vinente De Matos, Elizabeth Henderson, Carissa Stefani, Vivian Law, Lynn Scanlon, Sofia Martinez Cappello, Thu Khoang and Xiaoxia Li. Honors Students host French architect Jean-Pierre Houdin Honors Student Officers, along with the JCCC Foundation, hosted French architect Jean-Pierre Houdin who gave a presentation entitled Khufu Reborn on April 28th in the Hudson Auditorium. Officers John Rives and Connor Jones coordinated the event. Hospitality Honors students Katherine Copley and Baylie Hannah researched, prepared and served Egyptian appetizers and beverages during the Honors Poster presentation in the Atrium of the Regnier Center.

Honors Student PresentationsEach student in the Honors Program at JCCC is required to present a paper or project at an academic conference or at the JCCC Symposium. During the Spring 2016 semester, students participated in the JCCC Honors Symposium and Poster Presentation. Students also had the opportunity to attend and present at the Great Plains conference at John Brown University in Siloam Springs, Arkansas.
