Einbau- und Montagetips

Bei Inbetriebnahme ist darauf zu achten, daß der Geruchverschluß vollständig mit Wassergefüllt ist. Bitte kontrollieren Sie den Wasserstand in regelmäßigen Abständen, um eineGeruchsbelästigung zu vermeiden! Sollte ein regelmäßiger Wassernachfluß nicht möglichsein, dann kann alternativ die wasserlose Geruchssperre KESSEL-Multistop (Art.-Nr. 48500)nachgerüstet werden. Achtung: bei Nachrüstung muss der Zentrierzapfen am Grundkörperentfernt werden!Achtung! Betriftt Ultraflach DN 40: die mitgelieferte Lippendichtung beim Aufsatzstück findetkeine Anwendung.

Nach Abnehmen des Rostes und Herausnehmen des Geruchverschlusses ist eine optimaleRohrreinigung möglich.Bei Wiedereinbau den Geruchverschluß vollständig mit Wasser füllen.

Reinigung

Gewährleistung1. Ist eine Lieferung oder Leistung mangelhaft, so hat KESSEL nach Ihrer Wahl den Mangel

durch Nachbesserung zu beseitigen oder eine mangelfreie Sache zu liefern. Schlägt dieNachbesserung zweimal fehl oder ist sie wirtschaftlich nicht vertretbar, so hat derKäufer/Auftraggeber das Recht, vom Vertrag zurückzutreten oder seine Zahlungspflicht ent-sprechend zu mindern. Die Feststellung von offensichtlichen Mängeln muss unverzüglich,bei nicht erkennbaren oder verdeckten Mängeln unverzüglich nach ihrer Erkennbarkeitschriftlich mitgeteilt werden. Für Nachbesserungen und Nachlieferungen haftet KESSEL ingleichem Umfang wie für den ursprünglichen Vertragsgegenstand. Für Neulieferungenbeginnt die Gewährleistungsfrist neu zu laufen, jedoch nur im Umfang der Neulieferung.Es wird nur für neu hergestellte Sachen eine Gewährleistung übernommen.Die Gewährleistungsfrist beträgt 24 Monate ab Auslieferung an unseren Vertragspartner.§§ 377.378 HGB finden weiterhin Anwendung.

Über die gesetzliche Regelung hinaus erhöht die KESSEL AG die Gewährleistungsfrist fürLeichtflüssigkeitsabscheider, Fettabscheider, Schächte, Kleinkläranlagen und Regen-wasserzisternen auf 20 Jahre bezüglich Behälter. Dies bezieht sich auf die Dichtheit,Gebrauchstauglichkeit und statische Sicherheit.

Voraussetzung hierfür ist eine fachmännische Montage sowie ein bestimmungsgemäßerBetrieb entsprechend den aktuell gültigen Einbau- und Bedienungsanleitungen und den gül-tigen Normen.

2. KESSEL stellt ausdrücklich klar, dass Verschleiß kein Mangel ist. Gleiches gilt für Fehler, dieaufgrund mangelhafter Wartung auftreten.Stand 10.11.2009

Assembly tips

During initial operation, make sure that the odour trap is completely filled with water. Pleasecheck the water level at regular intervals to avoid odour pollution! If regular water replenish-ment should not be possible, the water-less odour stop KESSEL Multistop (art. no. 48500) canbe retrofitted instead. Caution: when retrofitting is carried out, the centring pin on the drainbody must be removed!Caution!Concerns Ultraflat DN 40: the lip seal delivered with the attachment piece is not used.

Optimal pipe cleaning is possible by taking the cover off and removing the odour trap by tilting.When the odour trap is replaced, it must be completely filled with water.

Cleaning

Guarantee1. In the case that a KESSEL product is defective, KESSEL has the option of repairing or repla-

cing the product. If the product remains defective after the second attempt to repair or repla-ce the product or it is economically unfeasible to repair or replace the product, the customerhas the right to cancel the order / contract or reduce payment accordingly. KESSEL must benotified immediately in writing of defects in a product. In the case that the defect is not visi-ble or difficult to detect, KESSEL must be notified immediately in writing of the defect assoon as it is discovered. If the product is repaired or replaced, the newly repaired or repla-ced product shall receive a new warranty identical to that which the original (defective) pro-duct was granted. The term defective product refers only to the product or part needingrepair or replacement and not necessarily to the entire product or unit. KESSEL products arewarranted for a period of 24 month. This warranty period begins on the day the product isshipped form KESSEL to its customer. The warranty only applies to newly manufacturedproducts. Additional information can be found in section 377 and 378 of the HGB.In addition to the standard warranty, KESSEL offers an additional 20 year warranty on thepolymer bodies of class I / II fuel separators, grease separators, inspection chambers, waste-water treatment systems and rainwater storage tanks. This additional warranty applies tothe watertightness, usability and structural soundness of the product.A requirement of this additional warranty is that the product is properly installed and opera-ted in accordance with the valid installation and user's manual as well as the correspondingnorms / regulations.

2. Wear and tear on a product will not be considered a defect. Problems with products resul-ting from improper installation, handling or maintenance will also be considered a defect.
