WDie M&S Armaturen GmbH wurde im Januar 1983 gegründet. Mit über 220 Mitarbeitern fer-tigen wir an drei Produktionsstandorten hochwertige Edelstahl-Armaturen sowie unter-schiedliche Sonderteile für die Getränke- und Lebensmittelindustrie, die chemischeIndustrie und für die pharmazeutische und kosmetische Branche.

Seit Jahrzehnten fertigen wir Scheibenventile und sind aufgrund dieser Erfahrung in derLage, den hohen Anforderungen dieser Branchen mit adäquaten Produkten zu entspre-chen. Unser breites Produktprogramm im Bereich der Scheibenventile wird seit Jahrenerfolgreich eingesetzt und die verschiedenen Produktlösungen haben sich millionenfachbewährt. The company M&S Armaturen GmbH was established in January 1983. More than 220employees manufacture high quality fittings and special parts of stainless steel at three pro-duction locations for the beverage and food industry as well as for the pharmaceutical andcosmetic sector.

Since decades we are producing butterflyvalves, as a result of this experience we areable to fulfil the high requirements of theseindustries. S PAMS – Familie

Nach dem erfolgreichen Serienstart unseres pneumatischen Antriebs M&S derGröße 0 „PAMS 0“ haben wir das Produkt konsequent weiter verbessert. Darausresultiert unser Antrieb PAMS 2, der kompakter als sein Vorgänger ist und durch dieenorme Drehmomenterhöhung unseren „Mega-Antrieb“ der Größe 3 nun überflüs-sig macht. Mit den Erfahrungen bei den Neuentwicklungen der Größen 0 und 2wurde jetzt unser Hauptantrieb PAMS 1 optimiert. Auch ihn zeichnet eine kompak-tere Bauweise mit gleichzeitiger Drehmomenterhöhung aus, die durch die optimier-te Bauform des Kolbens erreicht wird. Das daraus resultierende verringerteZylindervolumen senkt den Luftverbrauch pro Hubzyklus um die Hälfte im Vergleichzum Vorgängermodell. Dies sorgt wiederum für ein beachtliches Energiespar-potential in der automatischenProduktion. Unnötiger Luftverbrauchdurch Überdimensionierung wird sovermieden.Zusammenfassend bleibt festzuhal-ten, dass alle drei neuen Antriebekleinerer Bauart sind, somit wenigerLuft verbrauchen und trotzdem einerhöhtes Drehmoment aufweisen.

PAMS actuators

Our pneumatic actuator M&S size 0 “PAMS 0” had successful start of production.As a result of enhancements and consequent improvement we present the PAMS2 actuator. This product is more compact than its forerunner. Due to the enormousraise of torque our “mega-actuator” PAMS size 3 is dispensable now. We optimisedour major actuator PAMS 1 with experiences of developments of actuators sizes 0and 2. PAMS 1 is characterised by a compact construction and a raised torque aswell – achieved by optimised construction type of rotor. Thereby cylinder capacityreduced and in series air consumtion decreases per cycle of upstroke for 50 % bycomparison to the forerunner. Thus energy will be saved in automatic productionprocess. Unnecessary air consumtion by oversizing can therefore be avoided.All tree actuators are smaller than forerunner models. They need fewer air but forall that they have a higher torque.

ASI steht für AS-Interface (AS-I = Aktor-Sensor-Interface). Der ASI-BUS ist einstandardisiertes Verkabelungssystem zur Kommunikation zwischen Sensoren (z. B.Näherungsinitiatoren) und Aktoren (z. B. Ventile).

Sensoren und Aktoren sind nur über ein Kabel inklusive der Spannungsversorgungverdrahtet, wuchernde Kabelbäume und voluminöse Schaltschränke gehören derVergangenheit an.

ASI stands for Actor-Sensor-Interface.ASI is a standardised cabling system forcommunication between sensors (e. g.proximity switches) and actors (e. g. val-ves).

Sensors and actors are therefore onlyconnected through one cable – powersupply included. Growing cable loopsand huge switch cabinets can be bannedwith the M&S control unit.
