The music of Gary Ruschman (b. 1973) has been called “soulful”, "surprisingly powerful" (St. Paul Pioneer Press), “stirring” (Opera News), and "rousing" (American Record Guide). His arrangements and commissions have been heard throughout North America, with recent performances by the Dream Songs Project, South Dakota Chorale, Wartburg College, San Francisco’s Resound Ensemble, St. Michael's Choir School of Toronto, Lumina Women’s Ensemble, and the acclaimed male vocal ensemble Cantus.

As a performer, Gary works regularly as a tenor soloist, instrumentalist, choral artist, and studio vocalist, and has appeared with major and regional orchestras, opera companies, and concert series. He directs the Sanctuary Choir and other ensembles at St. Timothy Lutheran Church in St. Paul, MN, and has worked with thousands of singers as a choral clinician, opera educator, and voice teacher.
