The VePack P-series has been originally designed for Iceberg Lettuce . Thanks to machine modifications and special film developments, the systems now can also be used for the packaging of Broccoli, Cauliflower, Me-lons and other Fruit& vegetables.Each specially developed packing film has been optimized for optimal processing and maximum shelf life.

The packing system combines an innovative packing design (closed but breathable, tight packing with seal at the butt) with an efficient and modular machine concept. With a single unit, one person can clean & pack up to 17 products per minute. The capacity can be scaled up modular. With a complete harvesting rig, up to almost 120 heads per minute can be packed and handled in the field.

The VePack 200-PH is the stand alone module for packhouse operations. This basic system with manual in-feed is perfectly suited for low cost packing of various products. Either plain or pre-printed film can be used, and each system can be combined with automatic labeling, stamping or printing, saving additional labor, enhancing the product presentation and ensuring product identification.

With one module, up to 17 products can be packed per minute. You can combine multiple units into one high capacity packing system. Complete logistic solutions with up to 6 (or even more) modules can be designed to fit your specific needs and your available floor space.

The VePack 200-PHH is equipped with a compact automated, horizontal in-feed system (rotating table). This in-feed works as a “buffer”, giving the operator the possibility to reach maximum capacity. There is also more flexibility in the number of people working on the packing machine. From one person feeding one machine to two persons feeding four machines (in case of pre-cleaned produce).

The VePack 200-PHH is perfectly suited for the packing of Iceberg Lettuce. On request, the VePack PHH-modu-les can be modified for other vegetables. More than one VePack 200-PHH modules can be integrated into one high capacity packing system. We offer turn-key solutions including selected third party logistic components. Label dispensers, stamping systems or printers can be supplied as an option.

The VePack 200-PHV has a vertical in-feed system. The standard version (VePack 200-PHV 16-5) has 16 cups (of which 5 on the bottom part of the in-feed). This system is around 190 cm wide, and perfect for max. 2 operators. Wider version with more cups can be supplied, so more persons can work on one unit. For the packhouse we have supplied versions with an in-feed section up to 3,5 meters (VePack PHV 26), suitable for up to 4 persons.The VePack 200-PHV can be supplied stand alone, or as a multiple system solution with integrated logistics. All systems can be supplied with labeling, stamping and/or printing. In combination with the vertical in-feed system, integrated grading (on weight and/or size) and film length optimization options can also be offered, ensuring that underweight products are not packed, thus saving on recall, labor and film costs.

The most cost effective way of packing Iceberg Lettuce is to do it in the field. For this BrimaPack has developed the modular VePack 200-PRV with vertical infeed system. At field level the workers cut & clean the lettuce and put it in the infeed system in front of them. The produce is then transported to and packed by the packing units.

Die effektivste Art, Eisbergsalat zu verpacken, ist das Abpacken auf dem Feld. Zu diesem Zweck hat BrimaPack die modulare VePack 200-PRV mit vertikalem Zufuhrsystem entwickelt. The Columbia header system is customer optimized, to achieve highest productivity. In the optimal situation the cutters are sitting on their knees, the most efficient and ergonomic working position. Each cutter is assigned to specific rows, and to (a) specific in-feed system(s).

The Atlantis header system is based on the most conventional harvesting systems, and can easily be used on fields with different planting concepts. The cutters can be assigned freely (within limits) to the different in-feed systems, and can be assigned to different rows, dependent on the field.

The Discovery is a self-propelled harvester, designed to meet the specific requirements in the United States. The system has multiple packing units and logistics integrated in the harvester, this combined with a side off-load for the packed boxes to a transportation trailer.

The VePack-S series have been developed for the packaging of broccoli and other vegetables in (none) PVC stretch film. Stretch film packing guarantees you the highest possible packing quality and product visibility at the lowest film costs. With two models, the VePack 200-S and 250-S, Broccoli, Cabbage and Cauliflower can be packed. With a single packing machine one can realize the same output as 5 persons packing by hand, without redu-cing shelf life or increasing film costs. The machines can be used stand alone, or can be integrated in a com-plete logistic solution.

For the packing of Broccoli and comparable products in (none) PVC stretch film, The VePack S-series has been developed. Broccoli packed in the VePack S-series offer the same advantages (high shelf life and low film costs) as hand packing, but the labor costs compared to hand packing can be reduced by 80% on average. Compared to shrink, the shelf life of Broccoli and its visibility is substantially better, and you can save up to 60% on film costs.

The 200-S is optimal for single Broccoli packing and smaller Cabbages. the bigger VePack 250-S can also pack big-ger products, such as large Cabbages and Cauliflower. With the VePack 250-S XL even Chinese Cabbage up to 28 cm long can be packed.

For the VePack-S series complete logistic solutions have been developed. In combination with our preferred sup-pliers we can offer you complete systems, with box tippers (in all variations, with or without buffer systems), crate handling systems, transportation and waste deposit belts, and turning tables. On request all components can be produced in stainless steel.

VeLabelThe VeCode 660 can dispense labels up to 60 mm wide and 75 mm long, the VeCode 860 can use labels up to 75 x 90 mm. This last version can only be mounted on the VePack P-series, the VeCode 660 is suitable for both machines. New for 2012 is the possibility to combine the VeCode with an in-line printer.

BanderolesBanderoles can be used on all VePack S machines. A holder for these small printed roles is integrated in each machine. Applying a banderole will only take you seconds.. Banderoles give you the look & feel of pre-printed fi lm, without the necessity to pre-print all your basic fi lm roles.

Banderolen können bei allen VePack S-Maschinen verwendet werden. Für diese kleinen bedruckten Rollen wurde eine Haltevorrichtung in jede Maschine eingebaut. Für das Anbringen einer Banderole benötigen Sie nur wenige Sekunden. Banderolen bieten Ihnen das Aussehen & die Wirkung von vorgedruckter Folie ohne die Notwendigkeit, alle Ihre einfachen Folienrollen vordrucken zu müssen.

Las banderolas pueden usarse con todas las máquinas VePack S. Hay una sujeción para estos pequeños pape-les impresos integrada en cada máquina. Aplicar una banderola solo le llevará unos segundos. Las banderolas le dan un aspecto de fi lm preimpreso, sin la necesidad de preimprimir todos sus papeles fi lm básicos.

VeStampFor simple text (one or two lines), you can use the VeStamp system. The system can be used in combination with pre-printed fi lm (only on the VePack P-series). The text will always be stamped at exactly the right spot. It is very easy to manually change the text you want to stamp on the fi lm.

Für einfachen Text (eine oder zwei Zeilen) können Sie das VeStamp-System verwenden. Dieses Gerät kann in Kombination mit vorgedruckter Folie verwendet werden (nur an der VePack P-Serie). Der Text wird immer an der richtigen Stelle gestempelt. Es ist sehr einfach, den Text manuell zu ändern, den Sie auf die Folie drucken wollen.

With the VeSort series we offer a very cost effective grading system for broccoli and other products. It can grade up to 60 products per minute, into maximally 5 grading categories. The VeSort combines high cost savings with an increase in grading accuracy.

Mit der VeSort-Serie bieten wir ein sehr kostengünstiges Sortiersystem für Brokkoli und andere Produkte. Es kann bis zu 60 Produkte pro Minute nach maximal 5 Sortierkategorien sortieren. Die VeSort vereint hohe Ko-steneinsparungen mit einer Erhöhung der Sortiergenauigkeit.

Con las series VeSort le ofrecemos un sistema de clasificación muy rentable para el brécol y otros productos. Puede clasificar hasta 60 productos por minuto, en un máximo de 5 categorías. El VeSort combina un alto ahorro en coste con un incremento en la precisión de la clasificación.

The VeSort 3600-PST is the standard grading system which has been developed for packed produce. The system is being placed after the packing machine(s), and can be integrated with up to more than one packing machines.

The VeSort 3600-PRE is a so called “wet” grading system, developed for sorting broccoli and other produce before packing. Both packing systems can be combined with (turn-key) system integrated logistics.
