Für unseren Standort London / UK suchen wir auf Vollzeitbasis zum nächstmöglichen Zeitpunkt einen: Programming Coordinator (w/m), German-speaking Europe (GSE) Reporting into the Channel Manager for German-speaking Europe, SPT. An exciting opportunity for a German speaking Programming coordinator to join our team. Please note that this role is based in London in the United Kingdom. In order to enable us to meet statutory and regulatory obligations of the United Kingdom immigration system you must have the appropriate immigration permission needed to work and reside in the United Kingdom. Key Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Support day-to-day linear and non-linear programming and scheduling activities of Sony Networks’s GSA Pay TV services AXN, Sony Entertainment Television and Animax Working closely with Channel Manager in producing schedules and marketing information each month for the channels Gathering, compiling, writing and maintaining of German-language metadata, producing and distributing listings information to relevant platforms Assist Channel Manager in sourcing potential programming acquisitions and initiatives, screening content to assess suitability for the audience to the channels Liaising with the On-Air Promotions and Marketing teams in London/Munich to ensure support for key programming and initiatives across the schedule Develop competitive schedules (in the scheduling software Vision) and create monthly highlights for B2B distribution which constantly prove the channels added value to the GSA market place Qualifications and/or Experience Required: University degree educated or equivalent Typically 2 years of experience working in TV programming/scheduling/research within a TV channels environment Native German and fluency in English is essential Proven passion and a thorough understanding of the TV and entertainment business in German- speaking Europe, the US, and Western Europe Very good understanding of the program related processes, operations and workflows of television broadcasting This position requires a self-directed, adaptable individual who is able to multi-task under pressure and work towards clearly defined goals Strong interpersonal communication skills in an international environment Highly developed and demonstrable IT skills and knowledge Proven ability to handle multiple projects Strong eye to detail In order to be considered for this role please visit our careers website to submit your application: http://www.sonypicturesjobs.com/ Sony Pictures Entertainment is committed to equal opportunity in all its employment practices, policies and procedures.
