Unlike most other manufacturers, Unifloor™ uses a Cementitious core as standard in the manufacture of their floor panels and not only in their heavy duty ranges.

Unifloor™ Cementitious panel has become the preferred choice for architects, specifiers and end users due to its enhanced performance characteristics compared to a standard wood core or calcium silicate panel.The Cementitious core is inherently less susceptible tofluctuations in humidity and temperature than a wood coreproduct. This assists with on-site installation programming and therefore offers greater flexibility.The corner lock panel system provides maximum lateral stability at higher floor heights.

Corner Lock System

All pedestals are normally mechanically fixed to the subfloor or adhered with epoxy adhesive ensuring complete system compatibility and performance. Full details of these different options are available upon request from our Technical Services Team.


Unifloor™ Anti Static Properties

These panels help to reduce the static electricity generated by computers and other electrical equipment thus improving their performance and life span. As a result, our system is frequently specified for computer rooms where a strictly controlled environment is critical.

Unifoor™ panels can be installed directly onto a rigid network system of pedestals and stringers. The panels are manufactured to exact tolerances allowing them to be freely interchanged. It should be ensured that there is an even load distribution so that the maximum permitted concentrated load is not exceeded when the goods are being transported. Use hand-operated rollers only for transport and Lower the loads only when stationary!

Removing the floor panels

Only use the lifting tool to lift the floor panels. Hold the floor panel which has been lifted with one hand and then place it to the side.

Opening the access floor

Only remove as many panels as necessary so that horizontal stability is not adversely affected. There must not be any continuous, open rows or islands and no areas with free-standing pedestals.

Improtant!

Never use water to clean Access Floors. We recommend continuouscleaning of the surface by vacuuming.

Always store the panels between 12-30°C as extreme temperatures mayresult cracking of the top HPL sheet.
