Bei dem SIRruS Sanffstarter 3RW40 handelt es sich um eine Milrocontroller gesteuerte Sicherheitsvorrichtunggemäß Richtlinie 9419/EG, welche als Maßnahme zur indirekten Tenperahrrüberwachung (Überstromauslösung)eines elektrischen Betriebsmittels (EUC) eingesetzt werden kann.

Observe the trip class and/or the tripping characteristic of the3RW40. Select a hip class that also provides thermal protec-tion of the motor when the rotor is blocked. Motor and oerfor-mance must be designed for the trip class selected.

WARNING

All work involving connection, commissioning and mainte-nance are to be carried out by qualified and responsible per-sonnel. lmproperconduct can lead to serious personal injuryand damage to the equipment.

A WARNING

Setting the trip class to "OFF" deactivates the motor protectionof the device. This invalidates the EC prototype test certificateaccording to directive 94 / 9 / EC (ATEX 1004 certification).

TestA test must be carried out during commissioning and periodi-cally every 36 months at the latest!This test includes a complete function test and can be carriedout with the motor turned on or off. All three test ohases must beexecuted (see table). These include an LED test, a currenrdetection test for all three phases as well as a motor orotectiontest switch-off testing the entire control chain includinþ the swilching element and tñe OVERLOAD/FAILURE contact.Press the RESET/TEST button in faultfree condition to activatethe test.
