DETAILED ITINERARY

DAY 1 – HOME DESTINATION - ATHENS

Breakfast, check out and transfer to Kalambaka, passing through villages and towns of Central Greece. The town is situated on the foot of the Meteora peaks. It was named "Kalampaka" six or seven centuries ago. Arrival in Kalampaka accommodation hotel (check-in). The rest of the day is at your leisure. Lunch on the way at Kalambaka. Overnight in Kalambaka. (Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)

DAY 2 – ATHENS - KALAMBAKA

Arrival at Athens International Airport. Meet and greet with our representative and transfer for lunch and then to the accommodation hotel. Check in and afternoon at leisure. In The evening we will proceed for an Athens by Night orientation tour and then back to the hotel. Overnight in Athens. (Meals: Dinner)


DAY 3 – KALAMBAKA - IOANNINA

Breakfast, check-out and proceed to take the ferry boat for a visit to Ioannina Island which is located in Lake Pamvotida., the Monastery of Agiou Nikolaou Methodiou and Monastery of Prodromou.. The little settlement of the island built possibly during 17th century and it flourished in the Ali Pasha Era. In this place, Ali Pasha died in 1822, chased by Ottoman army. Free time and transfer back to the hotel. Overnight in Ioannina. (Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)

DAY 4 - IOANNINA

After breakfast, we will check out and proceed for a guided tour of Meteora The area of Meteora is associated with one of the largest and most precipitously built complexes of the Eastern Orthodox monasteries in Greece, which is considered as second in importance for the Eastern Orthodox Church after the Mount Athos. After our visit to Meteroa we will depart to Ioannina and to the accommodation hotel (check-in). Overnight in Ioannina. (Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)


DAY 5 – IOANNINA - SKOPJE

Eat up this morning as we then hit the streets to discover the beauty of Skopje in the morning with a sightseeing tour of the town. In the afternoon, we drive to Bansko for overnight stay. (Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)

DAY 6 – SKOPJE

Breakfast, check-out and proceed for a panoramic tour of Ioannina. Ioannina (often called Yannena) is the capital and largest city of Epirus, an administrative region in north-western which have findings from the Byzantine and post Bystazine period (Sculpture, currencies, heilrooms, etc from the 16th until 19th century).. Check-in, dinner and overnight at the hotel in Skopje. Overnight in Skopje. (Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)


DAY 7 – SKOPJE - BANSCO – RILA LAKES – SOFIA

After breakfast we will proceed for a panoramic city tour of Sofia. This half-day guided tour will introduce you to the real mixture of tradition and modern culture of the Bulgarian capital. the Alexander Nevski Cathedral, the Russian Church, the Church of St. Sophia, the Round Church “St. George”, the National Theatre, the mineral baths, the Jewish Synagogue, the National Art Gallery, the Archeological Museum and the Parliament square, the Presidency, Evening at Leisure. Overnight in Sofia.

DAY 8 – SOFIA

Nowadays Bansko is the Bulgarian most popular winter resort Later proceed to Seven Rila Lakes. The Seven Rila Lakes are a group of glacial lakes, situated in the northwestern Rila Mountain in Bulgaria.. In the evening we arrive in Sofia –The rest of the day is at your leisure to explore the charms of the Bulgarian capital. Sofia is one of the oldest cities of the Balkans. Today Sofia is the largest city of all southern slavic countries, having a population of 1.26 million people, Overnight in Sofia. (Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)


DAY 9 – SOFIA - VARNA

In and around Varna Morning walking tour in the Old part of Veliko Turnovo with its steep cobblestone streets, Arrival in Varna - commonly referred to as the marine capital of Bulgaria and the pearl of the Bulgarian Black sea coast, Varna is among Europe's oldest cities. Miletians founded the trading colony of which can be seen in Varna museum now. City landmarks include the Roman baths, the Sea Garden, the Cathedral, etc. We will visit the museum and have dinner with wine tasting at Darzalas Wine club. Overnight at the hotel. DAY 10 – VARNA

After breakfast we will proceed Varna. We reach the town of Varna – the largest administrative, business and cultural center on the Bulgarian Black Sea coast. In the afternoon we will introduce you to the town’s treasures – The Roman Thermal baths, The Cathedral “Assumption of Virgin Mary”. Overnight in Varna. (Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)


DAY 11 – VARNA – BUCHAREST

Breakfast and proceed for a panoramic tour of the city. Bucharest is the capital and largest city of Romania. During the tour you will see the Herastrau Park the Romanian Patriarchal, Constitution Square with an excellent view of the Palace of Parliament, University Square, Romana Square, Victory Square and many more exciting spots of the city. Optional visit to Village Museum (optional-entrance fee are not included). After the tour you will be transferred back to the hotel. Overnight in Bucharest. (Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)

DAY 12 – BUCHAREST

Breakfast, check-out and depart to Bucharest. The village is known as an architectural and historic reserve and was at one time the summer residence of Bulgarian kings. One of the highlights of the visit is the church of the Nativity, built in 1637. Carry on north to Rousse and cross the Danube to reach Bucharest. Upon arrival in Bucharest transfer to the accommodation hotel. Overnight in Bucharest. (Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)


DAY 12 –BUCHAREST - HOME DESTINATION

After breakfast you will be transferred to Bucharest International Airport for your international flight back to India. (Meals: Breakfast)
