Organization

Freudenberg sees itself as an enterprising corporation. Op-erative business is the responsibility of stand-alone compa-nies whose management conducts business autonomously.The individual companies belong to one of several Business

Groups. The executive bodies of the parent company Freu-denberg & Co. Kommanditgesellschaft – the ManagementBoard, the Board of Partners, and the Partners’ Meeting –have responsibilities similar to those of the Executive Board,the Supervisory Board and the Shareholders Meeting inGerman corporations.

The parent company’s Corporate Functions control, coordi-nate and monitor the activities of the Freudenberg Groupand provide advice and support to Business Groups. TheManagement Board members are jointly responsible for theleadership of the Freudenberg Group.
