Let me begin now with the presentation of our company: Loepfe was founded in 1955 by Helmut and Erich Loepfe The first product was the opto-electronic weft feeler for shuttle looms Since 1963 Loepfe has become a supplier of opto-electronic yarn clearers for cone winders. For almost 37 years, Loepfe has been a family owned company. Then, for 2 years, exactly from 92 to 94, Loepfe belonged to the SKF group of companies In 1994 Loepfe has become a member of the BARCO group. Referring to that, I would like to mention that Loepfe acts almost independently with its own agent and distribution network and with its own and wellknown technical assistance. Loepfe has two production lines: > the so called spinning and weaving solutions In weaving: For most of the important loom manufacturers Loepfe is the main supplier of the following products, promoted under the label: * WEFTMASTER - eletronic weft insertion and monitoring systems - electronic weft stop motion - electronic thread brake for projectile looms - thermo-cutter for synthetic fabrics on looms With the second product line, the turnover is 19%, that represent a volume of some US dollars 6 Mio. In spinning:

* YARNMASTER, a fully digital electronic yarn clearer system of modular concept - with online laboratory function and foreign fiber detection if required then........

* MILLMASTER a modular online monitoring and information system for the data exchange with the yarn clearer family YarnMaster YarnMaster and MillMaster together represent 81% of our turnover
