Produziert werden die rotationssyme tri schen Produkte mit Umformungsverfahren wie z. B. Drückwalzen, Drücken und Grob-Walzen. Die Vorteile von umformtechnisch hergestellten Bauteilen gegenüber mit herkömmlichen Ver-fahren hergestellten Produkten liegen u.a. in ei-ner optimalen Materialausnutzung, der hohen Endfestigkeit durch Kaltverfestigung und in der Gewichtsreduzierung.

The rotationally symmetrical products are produced with forming processes such as flow-forming, spinning and grob-forming. Components made by means of forming technology present a number of advantages over products manufactured by conventional methods. Die Winkelmann MSR Technology stellt für folgende Bereiche komplexe Umformbauteile her:
n Baumaschinen, Landmaschinen, PKW und Nutzfahrzeuge: z.B. Ein-zel- und Doppellamellenträger, Baugruppen, Kupplungssysteme, Planetenträger, Zählräder sowie Zylinder.
n Luft- und Raumfahrt: Antriebswellen für Triebwerke, Zylinder für Fahrwerke, Antriebswellen für Helikopter, Druckspeicher für Steu-erdüsen sowie Steuerdüsen für Satellitenmotoren.
n Wehrtechnik: Gehäuse für die Antriebselemente von Raketen und Missiles, Warhead-Skins, Launchtubes, Kar tuschen, Hohlladungsbele-gungen und Laufrollen für Kettenfahrzeuge.
n Oil & Gas Industries: Rohre für Forschungsbohrungen, MWD-Gehäuserohre, Rohre für Förderpumpen, Halbzeuge für Bohr- und Messequipment. Gehäuse für Vakuumpumpen und Druckbehälter ausgelegt für einen Betriebsdruck von bis zu 300 bar.
n Maschinenbau und Anlagentechnik: z. B. Präzisionsrohre für Druckmaschinen, Medizintechnik und Pneumatikindustrie. Spaltrohre und -töpfe für Vakuumpumpen. Druckbehälter bis 300 bar Betriebsdruck.
The Winkelmann MSR Technology produces complex forming components for the following areas:
n Construction machinery, agricultural machinery, passenger cars and commercial vehicles: e.g. single and double clutch housings, assemblies, clutch systems, planetary carriers, counter wheels and cylinders.
n Aerospace: drive shafts for engines, cylinders for running gear, drive shafts for helicopters, accumulators for reaction control system thrusters and reaction control system thrusters for satellite engines.
n Defence industry: housings for the drive elements of rockets and missiles, warhead skins, launch tubes, cartridges, shaped charge liners and road wheels for tracked vehicles.
n Oil & Gas Industries: tubes for research drillings, MWD housing tubes, tubes for artificial lift systems, tubes for semi-finished products and tools. Shells for vacuum pumps and pressure vessels rated for up to 300 bar operating pressure.
n Machinery construction and plant engineering: e.g. precision tubes for printing presses, medical devices and the pneumatics industry; cans and containment shells for vacuum pumps and pressure vessels rated for up to 300 bar operating pressure.
