The use of a 3 way system with 12” cone mid range and true compression driver gives higher sound quality and reliability when compared to reflex horn loaded drivers used as a mid range devices. The MH System consists of several components. The foundation of the system is the MH-18SUB, a horn loaded 18” subwoofer with capability of a high crossover point. The horn loading allows greater efficiency and more directivity than com- parable front loaded cabinets, which means the MH-18SUB is extremely suited for both outdoor and indoor applications. The MH-12D is a two way point sour ce speaker, utilising a high power driver unit for high frequencies. This gives the system great reliability. The 12” woofer is hor n loaded to improve efficiency, and the high frequency driver is both coaxially mounted and horn loaded. The all horn-loaded MH system is highly suitable for outdoor events when used in conjunction with a suitable DSP for system processing and equalisation.
