What real summer! I hope you enjoyed the sunny days and I am very delighted to present you with our Autumn-Winter Event Guide edition.There are surely some events which will appeal to you. I particularly would like to inform you that Gerald Vorreiter has taken over the scepter as executive chef since July 2015 (more in the Event Guide). Stop by at Parkhotel Zug and let him pamper you with his culinary dishes.

At Theater Casino Zug it is time to «close the curtain» in December. Our Theater Casino Zug Team will still spoil and welcome you until the end of year, whether at the restaurant for an aperitif or to an event in one of the halls.

Our longtime chef, Markus Aichhorn, has decided to go back to his home country Austria with his family after eight years. We thank him for his loyalty for so many years, his great effort and wish him good luck and all the best!

We are very pleased to now introduce to you Gerald Vorreiter as our new chef. He comes straight from Sochi where he opened up three hotels in the luxury segment and where he was head chef until the end of June. As our former chef, he is Austrian as well, from the same region of Salzburg and can already look back on an impressive career. His career stops were the Kempinski Amman in Jordan, the Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi, the Ritz Carlton in Moscow and the hotels of the Capella Hotel Group in Krasnaja Poljana above Sochi.Already as a child Mr. Vorreiter was fascinated by the many possibil-ities and the creativity when cooking. Gerald only puts dishes with fresh and natural products on the table. Look forward to a honest kitchen and to a lot of culinary surprises!

During our speciality weeks the Parkhotel Restaurant is also open on Saturday nights.

For the last three years our Specialty Week of the Soviet Union has been a great success. We are delighted to welcome Sergey Typkov as our guest chef from Thursday, 24th September to Sunday, October 4th 2015.

Sergey Typkov is head chef from the well-known golf resort «Moscow Coun-try Club» and he will pamper you with a great choice of Russian dishes.

He has created a menu with delicacies from different regions of Russia – from St. Petersburg to Vladivostok

Indulge his Chicken Kiev just the same as various Caucasian treats and of course many tasty Shashlyks.
