Generalmente utilizado en requerimientos proteicos y energéticos elevados, particularmente si precisan una seria restricción en el aporte de fosfatos y potasio. Renergy puede utilizarse en dietas libres de fructosa, sacarosa, gluten, colesterol o fibras. Adecuado para niños y adultos, no administrar en niños menores de un año.

Zubereitung und Verwendung: 100 g Pulver (1 Beutel) in 150 bis 250 ml Wasser einrühren, hilfreich ist die Auflösung in einem Shaker (Schüttelbecher); ggf. Mixer oder Pürierstab verwenden. Wassermenge entsprechend des Wasserbedarfes und der bevorzugten Konsistenz wählen. Renergy kann z. B. Sirup, Vanille- oder Kaffeepulver (löslich) zugegeben werden. Renergy kann wie Milchpulver oder in aufgelöster Form wie Trinkmilch, zum Anreichern von Speisen (z. B. in Quark oder Soßen eingerührt) und auch als Milchersatz im Rahmen der täglichen Ernährung eingesetzt werden. Bei Verwendung von mehr als einem Beutel pro Tag, oder bei einer ausschließlichen Ernährung mit Renergy, auf die Verteilung auf mehrere Mahlzeiten achten.
Sondennahrung: Renergy kann über alle üblichen Sondentechniken appliziert werden. Pulver in abgekochtes, abgekühltes Wasser einrühren,5 Minuten ruhen lassen, erneut umrühren, auf klümpchenfreie Auflösung achten. Pulver- und Wassermenge entsprechenddes Energiebedarfes und der gewünschten Energiedichte der Ernährungslösung wählen (siehe Tabelle Energiedichte).Einschleichend dosieren, Energiedichte und Gesamtmenge langsam auf die angestrebten Werte steigern.
Wichtige Hinweise: Nicht anwenden bei Kuhmilchproteinallergie sowie bei schweren Resorptions- und Digestionsstörungen. Enthält leicht ver-
fügbare Kohlenhydrate, bei Störungen der Glucosetoleranz (Diabetes) nur unter sorgfältiger Stoffwechselkontrolle verwenden. Der Eiweißbedarf ist unter Peritonealdialysebehandlung beim Auftreten einer Peritonitis stark erhöht. Unter diesen Bedingun- gen kann eine zusätzliche Eiweißgabe durch Renapro sinnvoll sein.
Instructions and Use: Mix 100 g powder (1 sachet) into 150 - 250 ml (1/4 to 1/2 pint) of water, using a shaker or a mixer can be helpful. The amount of water depends upon the preferred consistency and water limitation. Renergy is easily dissolved in cold or warm water. Renergy has a cream flavour. Fruit syrup or cinnamon may be added to change the taste. When using more than one sachet per day, or feeding as a complete food, Renergy should be spread over several mealtimes. If required, additional protein intake in the form of Renapro may be useful.
Tube-feeding preparation: Stir the powder into boiled water, which has been allowed to cool to a suitable feeding temperature. Leave to stand for 5 minutes, then stir again making sure there are no lumps present. Select powder and water quantities according to energyrequirements and the required energy-density of the feeding solution (refer to the energy density table). Gradually increase the dosage, energy density and total amount to the levels aimed for.
Important instructions: Renergy must not be used if there is an allergy to cow’s milk, or where absorption and digestive problems are present. Renergy contains easily digestable carbohydrates.
Uso y preparación: Diluir 100 g de Renergy (1 sobre) en 150 - 250 ml de agua, con la ayuda de un agitador o batidora. La cantidad de agua depende de la consistencia deseada y de las restricciones de agua. Renergy se disuelve fácilmente en agua fría y caliente. Renergy tiene sabor a vainilla. Para modificar el sabor, añadir zumos de frutas o canela. Si se utiliza más de un sobre al día, o alimento como dieta completa, Renergy debería repartirse en diferentes comidas.
Alimentación por sonda: Diluir el polvo en agua hervida, previamente enfriada a una temperatura adecuada para ingerir. Dejar reposar durante 5 minutos, agitar de nuevo asegurándose que no hay grumos. Seleccionar las cantidades de polvo y agua según los requeri-mientos energéticos y la densidad energética requerida en la solución (ver tabla de densidad energética). Gradualmente incrementar la dosificación, densidad energética y la cantidad total hasta los niveles propuestos.
Advertencia: Renergy no se debe recetar en pacientes con problemas de alergia a proteínas de la leche de vaca, o que presentenserios problemas digestivos y de absorción. Renergy contiene carbohidratos fácilmente digestibles; si la tolerancia a la glucosa está afectada, el metabolismo debe ser cuidadosamente monitorizado. Los requerimientos proteicos en pacientes CAPD están extremadamente elevados en casos de peritonitis. En casos de peritonitis es aconsejable un aporte adicional de proteínas.
