MENSCHENHANDEL UNDMENSCHENRECHTE – ZUGANG ZURECHTEN FÜR BETROFFENE DESMENSCHENHANDELS
Die österreichische Task Force zur Bekämpfung des Menschenhandels organisiert diese Veranstaltung anlässlich des Tages der Europäischen Union zur Bekämpfung des Menschenhandels, in Zusammenar-beit mit dem italienischen OSZE-Vorsitz, dem Büro des OSZE-Sonderbeauftragten und Koordinators zur Bekämpfung des Menschenhandels, dem Vienna Institute for International Dialogue and Cooperation (VIDC), der Internationalen Organisation für Migration (IOM), der Global Initiative Against Transnational Organized Crime und dem International Centre for Migration Policy Development (ICMPD).
Die Task Force zur Bekämpfung des Menschen- handels wurde 2004 gegründet und steht unter der Leitung des Bundesministeriums für Europa, Integra-tion und Äußeres. In der Task Force arbeiten Vertreter- Innen aller sachlich zuständigen Ministerien, der Bundesländer, der Sozialpartner und von Nichtre-gierungsorganisationen eng zusammen. Sie koordi-niert die österreichischen Maßnahmen zur Bekämp-fung des Menschenhandels und kontrolliert deren Umsetzung.

Die Veranstaltung ist öffentlich und ohne Teilnahme-gebühr zugänglich. Wir bitten um Verständnis, dass es beim Einlass aufgrund von Sicherheitskontrollen zu Wartezeiten kommen kann. Bitte bringen Sie einen Lichtbildausweis mit!
Konferenzsprachen sind Deutsch und Englisch. Für Simultandolmetschung wird gesorgt. Die Workshops finden ohne Dolmetschung statt – die Sprache der Workshops ist im Programm angegeben.
Im Rahmen der Veranstaltung wird die Ausstellung „Menschenhandel – Sklaverei des 21. Jahr- hunderts“ gezeigt.

Human Trafficking and Human Rights – Access to Rights for Victims of Human Trafficking
On the occasion of the EU Anti-Trafficking Day, the Austrian Task Force on Combating Human Trafficking organizes this conference in cooperation with the Italian OSCE-Chairmanship, the office of the OSCE Special Representative and Coordinator for Comba-ting Trafficking in Human Beings, the Vienna Institute for International Dialogue and Cooperation (VIDC), the International Organization for Migration (IOM), the Global Initiative Against Transnational Organi-zed Crime and the International Centre for Migration Policy Development (ICMPD).
The Task Force on Combating Human Trafficking was established in 2004 and is chaired by the Federal Ministry for Europe, Integration and Foreign Affairs. Representatives of all competent ministries, the federal provinces, the social partners and NGOs cooperate closely within the Task Force. They coor-dinate Austrian measures against human trafficking, prepare the National Action Plans on combating this crime and monitor their implementation.
