Tour - uccessful
Beginning
On
F e b r u a r y 10, we began the first part of our
report tour
in Florida.
The
wann w e l c c r o e given
us
was enhanced greatly b y seeing Christian
friends
of
long
standing
after
many years.
Dear
friends,
we
need your help. We
fully
realize
how high travel
expenses are and we d o not have the fun ds
t o handle
"motel livin g"
v r t n l e
on the
road.
After much
prayer
and thought on the Word in Ecclesiastes, chapter
three. . " There is a time t o gather and a time t o
scatter"..-we
feel
God's will f or
us is to "scatter".
We
ca n n o t afford to maintain
o ur
rented mob ile home while
traveling,
so
we are giving, storing,
selling
our few
pieces
o f furnit ure, and
giving
it up
until
we
return
to
the
Port
of
Brownsville in
the
Fall
t o
continue
our
work here.
It is just as the Lord premised...
"I tell you the truth, no on e
who
has left hone
or
brothers
or
sisters
or
mother
o r father o r children o r fields f or me
an d
the
gospel will
fail to receive a
hundred times as
much
in this
present
age
(hones, brot hers, sisters, mo thers,
children
e i n d fields—and with
them persecuti ons) and
i n
the
age
to
c o ne ,
eternal
life...

Giuseppe writes that
he is
c i television this
Decsnber in
a
series
of
Bible studies he has taped in
Terracina. Other good
news;
Several new
people are
studying the Scriptures with Giuseppe and attending
both Sunday and mid-week services regularly.
Of
special interest
is a young man,
Bruno, whose
actions
make it
clear that
nothing is so important to him as
searching
the Scriptures and
learning God s
will.
Please pray
for
Bruno
and
all these folks... nd

Giuseppe as
he
leads
than.
HEREWn S
Early this
year
we
began traveling and reporting
to
our
supporting
churches. We saw family along
the
way
and traversed
Texas, Kansas, Missouri,
Oklahoma,
Illinois,
Indiana, Michigan
and
Ohio. Although it was
really tiring, we enjoyed every minute
of
our time with
all
of you.
Our plans
were to return in August to
Brownsville, Texas
to the International Seamen s
Center, v^ere we had happily served for
two
and a half
years.
But God s plans were different and
in
June, when we
reported here
to the
Boulevard Church of Christ, the
church
invited
us to come home where they could take
care of us.
This
was
a real
step
of
faith for
both the
church
and
for
us, since
they
have
all they
can
handle
financially. So
we
must keep
our
support to stay
here.
As usual,
God's
people
have
been listening to
Him
and
are
faithfully continuing.
We have a small, one-
