High School Diploma/GED/CAHSEE Classes

Free GED Preparation Classes

The GED (General Educational Development) High School Equivalency Exam includes five separate tests: Writing, Mathematics, Social Studies, Science and Language Arts (reading). The GED test is offered once each month in Spanish and English. To take the test, you must be at least 18 years old, not a high school graduate, and not enrolled in a traditional high school. Prepare for the high school equivalency exam (GED) and improve your skills. �The fee for all five tests plus the state certificate is $140. �Receive a $20 discount if you attend GED prep classes at VACE. �

High School Diploma Program

Ventura Adult Education offers you the opportunity to progress at your own rate while concentrating on a smaller number of subjects at one time. Classes are offered during the day and in the evening to accommodate your schedule. You may enter the program at any time throughout the semester and work with friendly and knowledgeable instructors to meet your goals. Call 289-1749, ext. 1230 for more information.

Standard First Aid with CPR - AdultThis two-week course teaches individuals to respond to sudden illness, injuries, and breathing/cardiac emergencies in adults.
