1st secret: make community love youThis is also best explained
with an Example. we talked about that B, J. & N. were not
really successful until they were invited to participate in a
start-up-programme at Y-Combinator where they met Paul Graham. He
told them: Id rather make sure that 100 people love you than having
a mio people kind of like you. Get to know your community!
The guys then decided to meet some members of the community in
NYC and thats when it started to make a difference. In the
beginning, when the Airbnb community was still tiny, our founders
Brian and Joe would go to every single listing and take photos of
the rooms themselves and to check the quality of the listings. We
now have more advanced tools for this ;)
