67 : 1 Transliteration Tabaa rakal-lathee bìyadìhìl mülkü wa hüwa ‘ala küllì shay-ìn qadeer Sahih International Blessed is He in whose hand is dominion, and He is over all things competent - 67 : 2 Transliteration Allathee khalaqal mawta wal hayaata lìyab lüwaküm ayyüküm ahsanü ‘amalaa wahüwal ‘azeezül ghafoor Sahih International [He] who created death and life to test you [as to] which of you is best in deed - and He is the Exalted in Might, the Forgiving –

    Blessed is He in whose hand is dominion, and He is over all things competent -

    67 : 2

    Transliteration

    Allathee khalaqal mawta wal hayaata lìyab lüwaküm ayyüküm ahsanü ‘amalaa wahüwal ‘azeezül ghafoor Sahih International

    [He] who created death and life to test you [as to] which of you is best in deed - and He is the Exalted in Might, the Forgiving –

    Transliteration

    Al-lathee khalaqa sab ‘a samaawatìn tìbaaqan maa taraa fee

    khalqìr rahmaa-nìmìn tafaa-wüt; farjì ‘il baSara hal taraamìn fütoor Sahih International

    [And] who created seven heavens in layers. You do not see in the creation of the Most Merciful any inconsistency. So return [your] vision [to the sky]; do you see any breaks?

    67 : 4

    Transliteration

    Thümmar jì ’il baSara karrataynì yanqalìb ìlaykal baSarü khaasì-an wahüwa haseer Sahih International

    Then return [your] vision twice again. [Your] vision will return to you humbled while it is fatigued.

    Transliteration

    Walaqad zayyan nassamaa addünya bìma Saabeeha waja ’alnaa haa rüjooman lìsh shayaateen; wa a’ tadna lahüm ‘athaa bas-sa ‘eer Sahih International

    And We have certainly beautified the nearest heaven with stars and have made [from] them what is thrown at the devils and have prepared for them the punishment of the Blaze.

    67 : 6

    Transliteration

    Wa lìlla-theena kafaroo bìrab bìhìm ‘athaa-bü jahannama wabì/ sal-maseer Sahih International

    And for those who disbelieved in their Lord is the punishment of Hell, and wretched is the destination.

    Transliteration

    Ithaa ülqoo feehaa samì ‘oo lahaa shaheeqan wahìya tafoor Sahih International

    When they are thrown into it, they hear from it a [dreadful] inhaling while it boils up.

    67 : 8

    Transliteration

    Takaadü tamayyazü mìnal ghayTH; küllamaa ülqìya feeha fawjün sa alahüm khazanatühaa alam ya/tìküm natheer Sahih International

    It almost bursts with rage. Every time a company is thrown into it, its keepers ask them, "Did there not come to you a warner?"

    Transliteration

    Qaa-loo balaa qad jaa anaa natheerün fakath-thab-naa waqülnaa manazza lAllahü mìn shay/ ìn antüm ìllaa fee Dalaa-lìn-kabeer Sahih International

    They will say," Yes, a warner had come to us, but we denied and said, ' Allah has not sent down anything. You are not but in great error.' "

    67 : 10

    Transliteration

    Wa-qaaloo law künnaa nasma ‘ü aw-na’qìlü maa künnaa fee ass haa bìss-sa ‘eer Sahih International

    And they will say, "If only we had been listening or reasoning, we would not be among the companions of the Blaze."

    Transliteration

    Fa’ tarafoo bì-than-bìhìm fasüh-qan-lì ass haa-bìss sa’eer Sahih International

    And they will admit their sin, so [it is] alienation for the companions of the Blaze.

    67: 12

    Transliteration

    Innal-latheena yakh-shawna rabbahüm bìl ghaybì lahüm magh-fìratün wa-aj-rün kabeer Sahih International

    Indeed, those who fear their Lord unseen will have forgiveness and great reward.

    Transliteration

    Wa asìr-roo qaw-laküm awìj-haroo bìh; ìnna-hoo ‘alee-mün bì-thaa tìs-südoor Sahih International

    And conceal your speech or publicize it; indeed, He is Knowing of that within the breasts.

    67 : 14

    Transliteration

    Alaa ya’ lamü man khalaq wa hüwal laTee-fül-khabeer Sahih International

    Does He who created not know, while He is the Subtle, the Acquainted?

    Transliteration

    Hü wal-lathee ja ’ala la-kümül-arDa thaloo-lan famshoo fee manaa kìbìhaa waküloo mìn rìzqìh; wa ìlayhìn-nüshoor Sahih International

    It is He who made the earth tame for you - so walk among its slopes and eat of His provision - and to Him is the resurrection.

    67 : 16

    Transliteration

    A(h) - A(h) - mìntüm man fìss samaa ì ann-yakh sìfa bì-kümül arDa fa-ìthaa hìya tamoor Sahih International

    Do you feel secure that He who [holds authority] in the heaven would not cause the earth to swallow you and suddenly it would sway?

    Transliteration

    Amm amìntüm man fiss-samaa ì ann yürsìla ‘alaykum haasìbaa fa-sata’ lamoona kayfa natheer Sahih International

    Or do you feel secure that He who [holds authority] in the heaven would not send against you a storm of stones? Then you would know how [severe] was My warning.

    67 : 18

    Transliteration

    Wa laqad kath-thabal la-theena mìn qab-lìhìm fa-kayfa kaa-na nakeer Sahih International

    And already had those before them denied, and how [terrible] was My reproach.

    Transliteration

    Awa lam yaraw ìlaT-Tayrì fawqahüm Saaf-faatìn wayaq-bìDn; maa yüm sìkü-hünna ìllar-rahmaan; ìnna-hoo bì-küllì shay-ìn baseer Sahih International

    Do they not see the birds above them with wings outspread and [sometimes] folded in? None holds them [aloft] except the Most Merciful. Indeed He is, of all things, Seeing.

    67 : 20

    Transliteration

    Amm-man haa-thal-lathee hüwa jündün laküm yan- sürüküm mìn doo-nìr-rahmaan; ì-nìl kaafìroona ìllaa fee ghuroor Sahih International

    Or who is it that could be an army for you to aid you other than the Most Merciful? The disbelievers are not but in delusion.

    Transliteration

    Amm-man haa-thal-lathee yar-züqükum ìnn amsaka rìzqah; bal-laj-joo fee ‘ü tüw - wìn wa-nüfoor Sahih International

    Or who is it that could provide for you if He withheld His provision? But they have persisted in insolence and aversion.

    67 : 22

    Transliteration

    A-faman yam-shee mü-kìbban ‘alaa waj-hì-hee ahdaa amm-man yam-shee sa-wìyyan ‘alaa sìraa-Tìn müstaqeem Sahih International

    Then is one who walks fallen on his face better guided or one who walks erect on a straight path?

    Transliteration

    Qül hü wal-lathee an-sha aküm waja ‘alala kümüs-sam ’a wal ab-Saara wal af-ìdah; qa-leelan maa tash-küroon Sahih International

    Say, "It is He who has produced you and made for you hearing and vision and hearts; little are you grateful."

    67 : 24

    Transliteration

    Qül hü wal-lathee tha-ra-aküm fìl-arDì wa ìlayhì tüh-sharoon Sahih International

    Say, " It is He who has multiplied you throughout the earth, and to Him you will be gathered."

    Transliteration

    Wa ya-qooloona mataa haa-thal wa’ dü ìn küntüm Saa-dìqeen Sahih International

    And they say, "When is this promise, if you should be truthful?"

    67 : 26

    Transliteration

    Qul ìn-namaa ‘ilmü ‘in-dAllahì wa ìn-namaa ana na-thee-rün mü-been Sahih International

    Say, "The knowledge is only with Allah , and I am only a clear warner."

    Transliteration

    Fa lam-maa ra-aw-hü zül-fatan see-at wü-joo-hül la-theena kafaroo wa qeela haa-thal la-thee küntüm bì-hee tad-da ‘oon Sahih International

    But when they see it approaching, the faces of those who disbelieve will be distressed, and it will be said, "This is that for which you used to call."

    67 : 28

    Transliteration

    Qül a-ra-aytüm ìn ah-lakanì yAllahü wa man ma ‘iya aw-rahì-manaa (aw-rahì-manaa) faman yü-jee-rül kaa-fìreena min ‘a-thaa-bìn aleem Sahih International

    Say, [O Muhammad], "Have you considered: whether Allah should cause my death and those with me or have mercy upon us, who can protect the disbelievers from a painful punishment?"

    Transliteration

    Qül hü-war-rahmaanü aa-man-naa bì-hee wa ‘alayhì ta-wak-kalnaa fa-sata’ la-moona man hüwa fee Da-laa-lìn mü-been Sahih International

    Say, "He is the Most Merciful; we have believed in Him, and upon Him we have relied. And you will [come to] know who it is that is in clear error."

    67 : 30

    Transliteration

    Qül a-ra-aytüm ìn as-baha maa ü-küm ghaw-raa fa-man ya/ tee-küm bì maa ìn ma ‘een Sahih International

    Say, "Have you considered: if your water was to become sunken [into the earth], then who could bring you flowing water?"
