中華民國僑務委員會對僑胞的聯繫與服務是無遠弗屆的。為了加強對僑胞的聯繫

與服務，傳揚中華文化及台灣文化、拓展僑教，更為了讓移居異國的僑胞有一個

溫暖的去處，特地在全球華僑聚居的城市優先設置華僑文教中心，作為各地的服

務窗口。希望透過我們的服務，讓海外僑胞能跨越國界，縱使在海外仍能感受僑

務委員會的關懷，而與台灣緊緊相繫，時時相連。

The Overseas Compatriot A�airs Commission (OCAC) of the Republic of China (Taiwan) is assiduous in its provision of services to overseas compatriots. In order to enhance communication with overseas compatriots, to promote Chinese/Taiwanese culture and education, and in particular to provide a place that overseas compatriots can call home, the OCAC has established Culture Centers in cities with high concentrations of overseas Chinese/Taiwanese around the world. The Center is a point of contact for obtaining a variety of services. We hope that through our endeavors all overseas compatriots could feel the thoughtfulness of the OCAC even across the international borders, and will continue to identify with and render support to Taiwan.

新澤西中文學校協會是一個有註冊的非營利組織，其宗旨是在新澤西地區推廣中文語言及

中華文化教育。協會目前有二十所會員學校遍佈新澤西州，老師約有五百多人，學生約

有兩千五百多人。協會每年針對學生舉辦許多種校際友誼競賽，包括: 詩歌朗誦、象棋、 書法、演講、多媒體簡報、扯鈴、卡拉OK歌唱、中華文化常識、運動會， 每年也針對老師 舉辦很多研習會與講座: 由中華民國僑務委員會指導的海外華語文教師暑期培訓、十一月

份的數位華語文教師研習會、巡迴各僑校的數位教學點培訓、協辦文化種子教師培訓、

不定期的華語文教師經驗分享座談會，協會也針對新澤西僑界每年九月舉辦祭孔大典與

教師節活動、每年十月舉辦雙十國慶升旗典禮以慶祝中華民國國慶，協會每年也針對 僑校行政人員召開兩、三次的校長與幹部研習會，與各校合作以提升新澤西地區的中文

教育。

Association of New Jersey Chinese Schools(ANJCS) is a 501 (C) 3 non-pro�t organization which has 20 Chinese Schools and approximately 2500 students from all over New Jersey as members. Basically, there are four main types of activities that ANJCS has been sponsored to ful�ll its purpose of Chinese Language and Culture education to the New Jersey region. These activities are programmed for ANJCS’s member schools, teachers, students and parents. The contests for students are: poetry, speech, karaoke, calligraphy, chess, multimedia presentation, Chinese yoyo, Cultural knowledge, sports, etc. The Educational seminars for teachers are: language teacher conference in summer, digital teaching workshop in November, cultural teacher trainings. ANJCS also hosts Confucius worship for Teacher Day in Sept, Double Ten Flag Ceremony to celebrate the National birthday of Republic of China in Oct. ANJCS also have Principal and sta� meetings to re�ne these activities.

Fidelity Chinese School is a non-pro�t organization founded in 1994, with the objective of teaching and promoting Chinese language and culture. Besides the main curriculum, the school also encourages learning Chinese culture and developing self-con�dence through various academic activities, including speech, word recognition and poster contests. Many students also perform in annual cultural shows at nearby schools and at our annual New Year’s Performance.

招生對象為年滿四歲兒童至高中學生。每週六上午九時三十分至中午十二時三十分上課,內容包括兩小時語文課和一小時文化課。語文課程著重於聽、說、讀、寫方面,並有雙語

課程給家裡無中文環境但是有興趣學中文的小孩。學校並有豐富的文化課程包括功夫、

舞蹈、國樂、扯鈴、國畫、民俗工藝、繪本創作、兒童唱遊等。

Students: age 4 (Traditional), ages 6 (CSL) through high school senior. Classes meet from 9:30am – 12:30pm on Saturdays, including 2 hours of language instructions and 1 hour of culture class. The traditional language curriculum teaches listening, speaking, reading and writing of Chinese. The Chinese as Second Language program is designed especially for students from non-Chinese speaking families. FCS also o�ers a variety of culture classes, including: Kung-Fu, dance, chess, Chinese orchestra, Chinese Yo-Yo, Chinese calligraphy & painting, arts & crafts, creative drawing and children song and dance.

Jersey Shore Chinese School is a non-profit organization, which is open to the public. JSCS was founded in 1979 with the objective of promoting an understanding of Chinese language, culture and arts. JSCS has been located at William R. Satz School of Holmdel since 1989. The school offers various classes in Chinese language for students with different levels of proficiency. Mandarin is the main instructional language in all language classes, including those offered for non-Mandarin speaking children and adults. In addition to the language classes, the school provides students with a variety of cultural programs such as Tai-Chi, brush painting, Chinese calligraphy, Chinese traditional dance, origami, kirigami, Chinese Yo-Yo, Chinese chess, GO game, lion dance, and Chinese instruments like Er-Hu and bamboo flute. Murray Hill Chinese School (MHCS) was founded at Murray Hill, New Jersey in February 1983, and was thus named. There were 30 students divided into 3 classes. The classes were held at St. John´s Lutheran Church in Summit. As the school grew, MHCS moved to Faith Lutheran Church in Murray Hill in 1985. The cultural classes started that year as well. In the fall of 1989, MHCS moved to New Providence High School location. It remained there until the fall of 1997. To accommodate fast growth of student population, MHCS has then moved to Watchung Hills Regional High School location in Warren.

MHCS now has 24 language classes: 12 classes in the traditional immersion track (Pre-K, K, 1st ~ 10th grade), there are 10 children’s Bilingual classes (K, 1st ~ 7th grade), and 2 adult Bilingual classes. The cultural classes offered are: Drawing, Chinese Painting, Floral Arrangement, Origami, Arts and Crafts, Chinese Knotting, Chinese Chess, Cultural Knowledge, Kung-fu, Tai Chi, Chinese and Modern Dance, Chinese Yo-yo, Chinese Erhu, Violin, Singing, Basketball, Table Tennis, and Volleyball. The student enrollment is about 450.

In 1992, MHCS joined Chinese American Culture Association (CACA), a non-profit organization, under which there are five Chinese Schools and three clubs. Today MHCS is the largest Chinese school among CACA members.

We attribute the continuous growth and outstanding reputation to not only the hard work of past principals, teachers, and administrative staffs, but also to the enthusiastic parents´ support and service to the school, and their involvement in their children´s education. We strive to help create a mainstream value system of Chinese origin in culture, politics, economy, education, and all aspects of society.

梅山中文學校成立於一九八三年二月。創校時人數三十人，共分三班。成立之後學校陸續成長，目前學生人數約四百五十人。分語文班和文化班。語文班有二十四班：中文教學十二班(小班，大班，一到十年級)，雙語班十二班（雙語大班，雙語一到七年級，成人雙語班）。文化班有 二十二班：(學童十三班，成人九班)。目前梅山中文學校租用華強高中（Watchung Hills Regional High School）校舍開課。一九九二年二月本校加入中美文化協會(Chinese American Culture Association，簡稱CACA)成為團體會員。今日梅山已是中美文化協會之最大團體會員。

回顧多年來，梅山之所以能不斷成長茁壯，建立起傑出校譽，除了須歸功於歷屆校長，老師及 工作人員之辛苦，更要感謝的是熱心家長們對於學校的支持及對孩子們不懈的輔導與督促。梅山所從事的不只是中文的教學，對於下一代的華裔子弟，我們會以傳遞文化薪火為期許，要讓孩子們以華裔為榮，在新世界中開創一道華裔文化、政治、經濟、教育以及各個層面之主流。 我們誠摯希望諸位廠商朋友加入梅山師生及工作人員的行列，以財力支持我們，盡一份心力，為此崇高目標努力不懈。

About PCLS 關於本校普林斯頓中文學校簡介

普林斯頓中文學校是一所非營利的教育機構，其主要宗旨是提供一個有系統的教育環境，研習中國語言及文化。本校竭誠歡迎任何有志學習中文的人士報名參加。本校創立于 一九七零年，成立之初僅有五位老師和二十位學生，附屬於普林斯頓大學的ChineseClub。如今學生二百多人，共有二十一位語言班教師，及十七位文化課教師。本校的上課地點為PrincetonDaySchool。本校課程包括語言課及文化活動，語言課依學生年齡及中文程度分班。而文化課則以學生興趣選課。另外，也為家庭不說中文的學生設立三班漢語會話班。報名年齡不拘，有興趣者皆可參加。學校課程設計以注音符號及繁體漢字教學。五至九年級再輔以漢語拼音，而整體教學注重在學生能聽，說，讀，寫中文。文化課程方面，項目包括：畫畫，棋藝，說話技巧，中國結，舞蹈，說說唱唱，扯鈴，功夫，香包製作，紙藝，童玩，書法和籃球等。家長們也自組太級拳，籃球，韻律操，中醫，國畫及中國結等活動，增進彼此的友誼。學校分春秋兩學期上課，每學期上課共十六週，每週授三節包括兩節語言課及一節文化課。上課時間為星期日下午兩點三十分至五點。本校的行政機構是理事會和幹事會，所有理事會和幹事會成員完全是由家長們組成，義務性質的貢獻他們的時間，精神，和勞力。幹事會在理事會監督下，成員包括校長，副校長，財務，募款，文書，總務，訓導，康樂和家長連絡人等。本校的教務活動由教務主任，文化主任及所有老師推動。本校學生及家長也透過各式的文化交流為社區服務。近幾年來，更積極透過各種社區活動推展中華文化。例如：普大迎新，普林斯頓市的社區日，新州中南部區的女童軍年會，新州中部華人協會新年晚會，普林斯頓大學國際日及平原市的中國新年慶祝活動等。家長們熱心參與學校各項活動為我們的子女樹立一個服務社會的楷模。我們相信社區服務是回饋社會的最好方式之一。

The Princeton Chinese Language School, Inc. (PCLS) is a nonpro�t institution whose primary mission is to provide a structured and nurturing environment for learning Chinese language and culture. Students from all backgrounds and ages are welcome. Established in 1970, at its inception, the school was a�liated with Princeton University’s Chinese Club, where classes were held on the campus. There were �ve teachers and twenty students at that time. Today, we have more than 200 students, 21 language teachers, and 17 culture instructors. We hold weekly classes at the Princeton Day School in Princeton. The curriculum includes both language classes and cultural activities. Students are assigned to language classes based on either their age or Chinese language pro�ciency, and to cultural activities according to their preferences. There are three conversation classes that are designed for students who do not speak Chinese at home. There is no age limitation for these classes.

聯合中文學校簡介

聯合中文學校地點位於 Thomas Alva Edison Intermediate School, 800 Rahway Ave. Westfield, NJ 07090.

與 Fanwood, Scotch Plains, Cranford, Mountainside, Clark, Woodbridge 及 Edison相鄰, 交通方便, 可接

Garden State Parkway, Rt. 1&9, Rt. 27, Rt. 22, 及 I-78, 適合 Union County, Hudson County, Essex County

及 Edison地區的家庭就讀.

聯合中文學校成立於 1979年, 初時只有六個家庭和十位學生. 在各屆校長, 行政人員, 老師與家長的

合作下, 學校一直在穩定中進步與成長 如今約有 100家庭和 160位學生. 學年度從九月份開始到次

年的六月份, 週六上午上課, 共 32週. 因為學校租用Westfield的校舍, 因此行事曆大致與Westfield

公立學校相同. 當公立學校放假時,聯合中文學校也不上課.

學校上課時間為星期六上午, 二堂語文課 (9:00 至 10:50) 及文化課 (11:00 至 11:50). 教授繁體為主,

簡體為輔. 以注音符號為拼音標準, 並於幼兒班起即介紹漢語拼音. 四年級以上更加重漢語拼音的課

程. 高年級的課程特別著重中文 SAT的複習.

為了家長的便利, 學校也設立了成人文化班, 並定期舉辦專題演講, 以増加家長的聯誼. 專題演講的

議題經常包括投資講座, 教育基金的設立與申請大學應注意的事項.

語文課有:

幼兒班 (招收當年 10月 1日滿四歲以上的學生) 一年級至十年級

為雙語家庭特設的雙語班 (Chinese as a Second Language, CSL) 一年級至七年級

文化課有:

唱遊, 美勞, 繪畫, 棋藝, 吉他, 扯鈴, 國樂, 中國傳統的民族舞蹈, 書法, 中國結,手工藝, SAT 數學, 攝影

成人文化課有:

中國結, 書法, 瑜伽, 太極拳, 國際交際舞

每年註冊於五月初舉行 (免交註冊費) 也歡迎有興趣教授語文課或文化課的老師加入我們的教學行

About us

The Chinese American Music Ensemble (CAME) is a choral group that brings together people who are passionate about Chinese choral music. Our ensemble is made up of a children and an adult chorus.

Under the umbrella of Chinese American Cultural Association, CAME came into existence in 1994. Our current children conductor, Mr. Matthew Lee, who recently joined CAME, was trained in music education. Mr. Lee is a chorus teacher with the Ridge�eld school district. The adult conductor, Dr. Shuang Guo, has been with the ensemble for the past 12 years. Dr. Guo is a pianist and conductor by training. In May 2010, Dr. Guo led a combined chorus of 130 people to perform The Yellow River Cantata, a much beloved and popular Chinese choral work, with the West�eld Symphony Orchestra.

As part of our mission to promote Chinese music to the general public, CAME has sung at vari-ous venues: the Jersey Garden Mall, local libraries, senior citizen centers, the First Baptist Church of West�eld and the Willow Grove Presbyterian Church of Scotch Plains. Many of these concerts are made possible through the generosity of the Union County Arts Grant and the HEART Grant.

CAME is open to all and we welcome new members. We hold rehearsals every Saturday from 4:00pm to 6:00pm at the Willow Grove Presbyterian Church at 1961 Raritan Road, Scotch Plains, NJ. 負責該學區音樂教學及合唱團指揮。成人組指揮，郭爽博士，擔任本團指揮12年，是一位鋼琴

家和指揮家。二零一零年，本團聯合其他友團共一百三十人，由West�eld 交響樂團伴奏，郭爽 博士指揮，表演了中國著名樂曲，《黃河大合唱》，獲得廣大群眾熱愛。本團的表現優異，

自一九九七年以來，獲得新澤西州政府藝術部的經費資助至今。過去多年，本團並榮獲Union County Board of Chosen Freeholders《HEART》 Grant 的贊助。
