How does it work?Water from the river is channeled through a settlingbasin, which helps to remove sediment that couldharm the turbine. The water then flows into theForebay Tank where it is directed downhill through apipe called a penstock. When the water reaches thebottom, it drives a specially designed turbine toproduce the electricity.
