    screws.

InstallationThe contents of these Instructions refer to theeffect that handling the component in questioncan have on the behavior of the installation. Itis recommended that the written instructionsbe followed and applied when the component isbeing manipulated.

TA-200 Room Thermostat (Fig. 1)a) Disconnect the boiler from the electrical

supply (1).b) Connect the two wires (telephone cable can

be used) to the 2-lug terminal strip providedas shown in (Fig. 2). It is advisable that thelength of the cable does not exceed 30m.

    c) Remove the TA-200 from its wall bracket(Fig. 3) by carefully pressing the lower partof the closing tag with a screwdriver, throughthe rectangular hole for this purpose. Ifsurface cable is used, proceed to:1 Break the thin wall (1) to enable passing

    the cable.

2 Fix the bracket to the wall, at a height of1.5m from floor level, using the rawlplugsand screws supplied, in such a way thatthe closing tag is on the lower part.

3 Pass the cable through the hole brokenin the thin wall (1) and wire it to theterminals provided on the bracket.

    d) If embedded cable is used, proceed to:1 Fix the bracket to the wall as indicated in

2 above.2 Pass the cable through the window (2).

(Fig. 3).3 Wire the cable to the terminals provided.

    e) Remove the cover from the TA-200.f) Couple the body of the TA-200 thermostat to

the wall bracket, hanging it from the upperpart and pressing the lower part until it isretained.

    g) Withdraw the Control from the boiler (Figs. 4or 5) and couple it to the body of thethermostat. (Fig. 6).

    h) Place the cover of the TA-200 thermostat inthe seat left in the control panel when theboiler control was removed.

    i) Restore the power supply to the boiler.

MD-200 Remote ControlProceed as indicated for the TA-200 in theprevious section, replacing references toTA-200 with MD-200 (Fig. 7).

RA-200 Room Thermostat andMR-200 Repeater ModuleMR-200 Room thermostatTo install the RA-200 (Fig. 1b) proceed to:a) Disconnect the boiler from the electrical

supply (1) and Withdraw the RA-200 from itswall bracket (Fig. 3) as described in operationc) above for the TA-200 thermostat, andremove the plastic strip (3) (Fig. 8) from thebattery compartment.

    b) If the wall bracket is used instead of thestand (4) (Fig. 9), fix it to the wall asdescribed in operation 2 c) for the TA-200thermostat.

    c) Repeat operations f), g) and h) indicated forthe TA-200, replacing the references toTA-200 cover and wall bracket with radiotransmitter module and wall bracket orstand, respectively and Restore the powersupply to the boiler

Note: The range of the RA-200 varies inside abuilding (according to properties of the walls,etc.). To increase the operating range betweenboiler and thermostat, up to two MR-200Repeater Modules can be installed, or make acombined installation with an MD-200 RemoteControl as is described later.d) Once the RA-200 is installed, it is advisable

to check the quality of communication, aswill be described later in the paragraphsChecking the Quality of Communications ofthe RA-200 and Radio CommunicationsTest.

MR-200 Repeater Module(s)Before installing the MR-200 Repeater Module(Fig. 10) your radio module must be configuredwith the green LED (Fig. 11) to receive ordersfrom a specific RA-200. To do this proceed to: Remove the batteries from the RA-200

thermostat. Remove the radio module with the green LED

from the MR-200 and, with the selector (5)(Fig. 11), select the type of repeater. For asingle repeater select type A; if two areinstalled, select A in one and B in theother.

Remove the boiler control (Fig. 5 or 6) fromthe RA-200 and place the radio module withthe green LED, taken from the MR-200, onthe RA-200 thermostat.

Remove the radio module with the green LEDfrom the MR-200 placed on the RA-200.Replace the batteries and boiler control inthe RA-200 thermostat. The RA-200 code istransferred to the MR-200 radio module withthe green LED.

To install the MR-200 repeater module(s), nowconfigured, proceed to: Fix the wall bracket(s) to the wall as described

previously in b), c) and d) for the TA-200thermostat, replacing reference to TA-200with MR-200. Remember that the powersupply to the MR-200 Repeater Module is230V 50Hz and cable of 0.5mm crosssection, at minimum, should be used.

Place the radio module(s) on the MR-200Repeater Module(s).

Combined Installation of MD-200 RemoteControl and RA-200 Room ThermostatIn those cases where some radio-electrical obstacle(washing-machine, concrete floor slab, metal doors, etc.) impedes correct connection betweenthermostat and boiler, and there is no need forrepeaters once past the obstacle, a combinedtwo-cable / radio installation can be used, whichpermits separating the radio module from the boilerby up to 30m. In this case proceed to:a) Install the MD-200 as described in previous

    sections a) to e) for the TA-200, replacingreferences to TA-200 with MD-200.

    b) Install the RA-200 on its bracket as describedin previous sections a) and b) for theRA-200 thermostat.

    c) Place the cover of the MD-200 on the controlpanel, the boiler control on the RA-200 andthe RA
