The mobility of the future will be dif-ferent. With the New Mobility World premiere at the IAA 2015 we created a globally unique place where tech-nology firms, the automobile industry, mobility businesses, startups and the digital economy, the world of politics, science, media, and society were able to get together to think about, present, discuss, and bring to life the future of mobility.

We will be continuing this innova-tive and interdisciplinary spirit with the New Mobility World 2017. NEW MOBILITY WORLD

We live in a digitalized world which is increasingly extending to the vehicle. New possibilities are emerging and developments in the area of mobility are rapidly advancing. With the estab-lishment of the New Mobility World in hall 3.1, a completely new future area was created at the IAA in 2015 to keep abreast of these developments. More than 180 exhibitors from a wide range of industries and companies of various sizes – from the startup to the international telecommunications corporation – were represented with their products and technologies. In more than 200 NMW conferences, renowned representatives from the world of business, politics, and industry discussed

the mobility of the future on panels and in inspiring keynote speeches.

The aforementioned NMW15 exhibition area was also comple-mented by a large outdoor PARCOURS, on which visitors were able to experience the new possibilities live: cars that can park by themselves, negotiate a simulated superhighway fully autonomously, or “automatically” avoid a sudden obstacle on the road. For visitors to the New Mobility World 2015, the future became the present for the first time.

Wir leben in einer digitalisierten Welt, die auch das Fahrzeug mehr und mehr durchdringt. Neue Möglichkeiten entstehen, die Entwicklungen im Bereich Mobilität schreiten rasant voran. 2015 wurde mit der New Mobility World in Halle 3.1 ein völlig neuer Zukunftsbereich auf der IAA geschaffen, um diesen Entwicklungen Rechnung zu tragen. Über 180 Aussteller unterschiedlichster Branchen und Unternehmensgrößen – vom Start-up bis zum internationalen Telekommunikationskonzern – waren mit ihren Produkten und Technologien vertreten. Im Rahmen der über 200 NMW- Konferenzen sprachen und diskutierten renommierte

Vertreter aus Wirtschaft, Politik und Industrie in inspirie-renden Keynotes und Panels über die Mobilität von morgen.

Der Ausstellungsbereich der NMW15 wurde zudem von einem großen Outdoor-Parcours ergänzt, auf dem Besucher die neuen Möglichkeiten live erleben konnten: Autos, die selbst-ständig einparken, die vollautonom eine simulierte Auto-bahn-Baustelle durchfahren oder die „automatisch“ einem plötzlich auftretenden Hindernis auf der Straße ausweichen. Bei der New Mobility World 2015 wurde die Zukunft für den Besucher erstmals zur Gegenwart.

They break new ground, shape the future, and overcome boundaries to turn visions into reality. Keynote speeches, panels, and discussions are held on the fully curated FORUM stage. the two Speakers’ Corners. Furthermore, at the weekend on the FORUM stage is the NMW Playground – our interactive infotainment format where you can present your products and technologies and let the public get to grips with them and try them out.
