Jakob Dieffenbacher and his sons Wilhelm and Friedrich tho-roughly paved the way for a company with ample scope fordevelopment.
The transformation to a worldwide operating industrialenterprise was conducted by the third generation. Albertand Gerhard Dieffenbacher utilized the innovative strengthderived from the sound basis of tradition and experiencecreated by the company's founding fathers, and initiated acontinuous process of development. Under the current man-agement of the 4th generation, the company has expandedinternationally to become a global and leading systems andplant supplier.
The Dieffenbacher name has long since become known torepresent reliability, high quality and outstanding products.
Shortly after completing his training as a master fitter – whichhe coincidentally attended along with Karl Benz in Mann-heim – Jakob Dieffenbacher opens a locksmith business inhis hometown of Eppingen.
Modern safes were his first products, but by the turn ofthe century, the company was building fruit presses and sel-ling them all over Europe.
Entrepreneurial spirit and an instinct for developmentswith sales potential, allowed the young workshop to quicklyexpand into a full-scale mechanical engineering enterprise.

In close cooperation with customers, our expert teamswork on future-oriented system solutions. Well-designedproduction systems for all kinds of panels such as particlebo-ard, MDF, THDF, OSB, OSL or LVL are part of Dieffenbacher'sperformance range.
Important key components on each complete Dieffenbacherline are dryer, sifter, spreading systems and forming line,continuous presses type CPS or cycle presses in single- ormulti-daylight design and finishing lines as well as storagesystems. The highly flexible modular Dieffenbacher electro-nic process control system monitors, analyzes and optimizesthe entire production process.

The automotive industry's high standards of precision andquality determine the development undertaken by Dieffen-bacher's plastics forming division.
The LFT-D-ILC process technology developed by Dieffen-bacher allows compounding long fiber-reinforced thermo-plastics according to the individual requirements of the pro-duct.
This highly efficient process obviates the complicated andexpensive process of semi-finished parts production. At thesame time, this process protects the environment due to thepossibilities of in-line recycling and energy savings.
Dieffenbacher offers the entire line including the press,automation, parts finishing, die change and extruder forSMC and GMT processing and the LFT-D-ILC production pro-cess.

Future-oriented technology:Isostatic press lines
Components for engines, aviation and aerospace applicationsas well as artificial joints for the medical engineering field:These are examples of high-tech isotropic elements, whichhave to withstand extreme temperatures and other highstress levels. These characteristics can no longer be achievedby using conventional processes. Metal or ceramic powdersare isostatically pressed at temperatures up to 2,500 °C andspecific pressures up to 5,000 bar.
This challenge that our research engineers are facing hasbeen successfully solved and is used in many different appli-cations such as research laboratory equipment or productionsystems in the industry.
Whether it is Cold-Isostatic Pressing (CIP) or Hot-IsostaticPressing (HIP) – we deliver the expertise for pressing and pro-cess technology in both areas.

Dieffenbacher presses and production lines are designed forusers’ benefit. High availability, maintenance and user friendlyoperations are all factors that guarantee increased profitabili-ty. In order to maintain this level, long after the initial start-up,we emphasize this valuable training of the customers’ staff.
Active and practical orientated training sessions are held byexperienced instructors at the Dieffenbacher’s Training Centeror on site.
The emphasis is on getting familiar with the machine hard-ware and software. Prime targets are quick fault diagnosis andrepair.
Fast and competent service
Dieffenbacher’s experienced service team is on call worldwi-de 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Dieffenbacher's servicepackage comprises online service, field service, genuinespare parts, training, service contracts, modernization andmuch more.
Via a mobile satellite station or digital network, all rele-vant operating data can be transmitted for analysis in realtime to Dieffenbacher's service center by the newly develo-ped online support system. In critical areas of the productionline, cameras are installed for an online transmission of ima-ges.
Mobile standard and special cameras (e.g. endoscopiccameras) can also be used.
For trouble shooting, Dieffenbacher specialists can takethe necessary measures by accessing the production linesoftware directly and teleconference with the customer. Thissaves time and money.
