Full program fit for safety From professionals for professionalsSafety and profitability can be enhanced with training
Summary of terms and conditions for HIMA training courses and seminars:
1. Training prerequisitesHIMA training strives to reach the objectives specified for the various training courses. The participants themselves must ensure that they have the necessary prerequisite knowledge. For training courses, seminars and consulting services, HIMA employs qualified trainers. HIMA cannot guarantee success of the training itself, which depends largely on the commitment of the participants and, potentially, necessary prior knowledge. Assessment of prerequisite knowledge expected of the participants is not within the scope of the various training courses.
2. Training timesThe first seminar day will begin at 08:30 a.m. unless otherwise specified in the order confirmation. Participants will register at HIMA’s reception and wait there to be picked up. The courses usually end at about 04:30 p.m., although this may vary. Participants must arrange their own arrival and departure as well as accommodations as needed.
3. RegistrationRegistration must be in writing, either through the HIMA application form sent by mail, fax or e-mail, or by the participant placing an equi-valent order. Mandatory registration information includes the course date, the first and last name of the participants, their e-mail and invoice addresses. Any registration data specified will be processed electronically and stored for participant management purposes.
You have the responsibility – we have the know-how
The complexity of new safety standards, coupled with growing cost pressures and more aggressive project schedules, makes it increasingly difficult for project operators to meet their legal and economic responsibilities.Plants must operate profitably and safety must be guaranteed at all times. To help you achieve both goals, we developed the HIMA LIFeCyCLe SeRvICeS concept.HIMA’s comprehensive training program is part of our qualified, elaborate and harmonised services that support you throughout all lifecycle phases.
The significance of high-quality training is underscored by the latest IEC 61508 safety standards, which explicitly require all members of a safety-critical project to demonstrate their personal qualification. This is particularly the case for planning, operating and maintenance personnel.
HIMA training encompasses numerous course offerings you can choose from product-specific courses or training tailored to a specific project. Training can be conducted at one of the HIMA training centres or at your facilities. Courses are offered in both German and english.
HIMA training courses contribute to maintaining your plant's safety and help you avoid unnecessary shutdowns due to operating errors. By training your personnel at HIMA, you not only help meet your legal obligations, but you also foster safe and profitable plant operations that are fully compliant with the latest standards.
Since the number of participants is usually limited to eight, the regis-tration will be confirmed in accordance with the date of receipt. After registration, an order confirmation will be sent and specify all relevant details and required documents. With the registration, the HIMA terms and conditions for training courses and seminars are officially accepted and become an integral part of the contract.
4. Terms of paymentThe participation fees must be paid no later than 10 days before the scheduled training course. Other terms of payment may be specified in the order confirmation. Participation costs include the following HIMA services: preparation and execution of the course, use of the corresponding training rooms, provision and use of the training systems and computers, provision of the agreed and documented contents, training materials as well as lunch and refreshments during breaks. A certificate of attendance will be issued to the participants. Additional services such as transportation or accommodation expenses, as well as any deviating terms, must be confirmed by HIMA in written form. HIMA notes that any travel, meals or overnight accommodation expenses must be carried by the participant or customer.
