EDMO AD 2.20 Local aerodrome regulations

1. Einschränkung des Flugbetriebs 1. Restriction of flight operations

Alle Flüge am Sonderflughafen Oberpfaffenhofen bedürfen einer vorherigenGenehmigung (PPR) des Flughafenunternehmers (Verfahren und Vordruckesiehe auch: www.edmo-airport.de). Die Genehmigung ist per Fax, e-mail oderTelefon bei der Verkehrsleitung einzuholen:

All flights at Oberpfaffenhofen Special Airport require PPR from the airportoperator (procedures and forms see also www.edmo-airport.de). Permissionshall be obtained by fax, e-mail or telephone from the traffic managementoffice:

– an Werktagen 2 Stunden. im Voraus – on workdays 2 hours in advance

– für geplante Flüge an Samstagen: bis 1700 (1600) am Werktag davor – or planned flights on Sat: by 1700 (1600) of the previous workday

– für geplante Flüge an Sonn- oder Feiertagen: bis 1700 (1600) am Werktag(Mon – Fri) davor

Zugelassen sind Benutzer aus dem Bereich des qualifizierten Geschäftsreise-flugverkehrs, d. h. Starts und Landungen im Streckenluftverkehr nach Instru-mentenflugregeln mit Flugzeugen mit einer höchstzulässigen Startmasse(MTOM) von mindestens 2 t bis höchstens 25 t zuzüglich der FlugzeugmusterFalcon 7 X, Global XRS (schließt Global 5000, Global 6000 und Global Ex-press ein), Gulfstream G 550 (schließt die Muster G 500, G 350, G 450, G 650,G III, G IV und G V ein), sowie im Streckenluftverkehr (sowohl IFR und VFR)mit Hubschraubern mit einer MTOM bis 5 t im Taxiluftverkehr oder Werkluft-verkehr oder im sonstigen nichtgewerblichen Luftverkehr.

Approved are users from the area of qualified business air travel, i.e. take-offsand landings in en-route air traffic under instrument flight rules with aircraft ofa maximum take-off mass (MTOM) of at least 2 t up to a maximum of 25 t aswell as aircraft types Falcon 7 X, Global XRS (including Global 5000, Global6000 and Global Express), Gulfstream G 550 (including types G 500, G 350,G450, G 650, G III, G IV and G V), as well as in en-route air traffic (IFR and VFR)with helicopters of a MTOM of up to 5 t in performing taxi flights, corporateflights or flights for non-traffic purposes.

1.2 Fluglinienverkehr 1.2 Scheduled air services

Fluglinienverkehr in Form von allgemein zugänglichem zu festgelegten Zeitenstattfindendem Charterluftverkehr ist nicht zulässig.

Scheduled air services in the form of generally accessible charter traffic takingplace at specific times are not permitted.

1.3 Gelegenheitsverkehr 1.3 Non-scheduled air services

Gelegenheitsverkehr in Form von allgemein zugänglichem zu festgelegtenZeiten stattfindendem Charterluftverkehr ist nicht zulässig. Gelegenheitsver-kehr in Form von Taxiluftverkehr ist nur als Anforderungsluftverkehr ohne Ein-zelsitzplatzbuchung zulässig. Die in diesem Verkehr eingesetzten strahl- oderturbinengetriebenen Flugzeuge müssen für Starts und Landungen auf demSonderflughafen Oberpfaffenhofen mindestens nach ICAO Annex 16 Kapitel3 lärmzertifiziert sein. Propellerbetriebene Flugzeuge müssen die erhöhtenSchallschutzanforderungen nach § 4 Abs. 2 und 3 der Landeplatz-Lärm-schutz-Verordnung vom 5. 1.1999 (BGBl. I S. 35), Hubschrauber die Lärm-schutzanforderungen nach LSL Kapitel VIII erfüllen.

Non-scheduled air services in the form of generally accessible charter traffictaking place at specific times are not permitted. Non-scheduled air services inthe form of taxi flights are permitted only as air transport on request withoutindividual seat reservations. The jet aircraft or turbine-powered aeroplanesused for such flights must have a noise certificate complying at least with ICAOAnnex 16 Chapter 3 for take-offs and landings at Oberpfaffen-hofen SpecialAirport. Propeller-driven aeroplanes shall fulfil the increased noise-abatementrequirements in accordance with Article 4 paragraphs 2 and 3 of the GermanRegulation on Noise Protection at Airfields of 5 JAN 1999 (Official Journal Ip. 35); helicopters shall fulfil the noise-protection requirements according tonoise requirements for aircraft (LSL) Chapter VIII.

Pro Kalenderjahr sind nicht mehr als 9.725 Flugbewegungen nach Punkt 1,Nr. 5 zulässig.

A maximum of 9725 flights per calendar year are permitted in accordance withparagraph 1 item 5.

An Sonn- und Feiertagen findet grundsätzlich kein Flugbetrieb statt. Zwischen0800 (0700) und 2000 (1900) dürfen allerdings maximal 200 Flugbewegungenjährlich nach dem Punkt 1, Nr 1. – 5. durchgeführt werden; soweit hierbeistrahl- und turbinengetriebene Flugzeuge eingesetzt werden, müssen diesedie Lärmschutzanforderungen nach ICAO Annex 16 Kapitel 4 erfüllen.

As a rule, flight operations will not take place on Sundays and public holidays.However, between 0800 (0700) and 2000 (1900) a maximum of 200 flights ayear may be conducted in accordance with paragraph 1 items 1. – 5.; if jetaircraft and turbine-powered aeroplanes are used, they shall fulfil the noiseprotection requirements according to ICAO Annex 16 Chapter 4.

Starts und Landungen, für die ein Flugplan für einen bis 2000 (1900) geplan-ten Start bzw. für eine bis 2000 (1900) geplante Landung am SonderflughafenOberpfaffenhofen der zuständigen ATC-Stelle vorliegt, sind an allen Tagen bisspätestens 2100 (2000) zulässig, falls sich die Verspätung aus ATC-Gründenergibt. Starts und Landungen zwischen 2000 (1900) und 2100 (2000) bedür-fen abermals der vorherigen Genehmigung durch die Verkehrsleitung.
