Graduate School Scholarship Programme- GSSP

Guidelines and Information for Foreign Applicants

Within the framework of the GSSP programme, scholarships are awarded in a two-stagecompetition and selection procedure. During the first stage, students are nominated for ascholarship by a graduate school or a graduate programme at a German university. Thenominees must then submit an application form with supporting documentation. committee at DD comprised of university professors makes the final decision in theselection of the scholarship recipients.

1. Submission of Applications

Please submit thefollowing documents in German or (nglish along with the applicationform!

)over letter which confirms that the applicant meets all necessary re*uirements for

the Graduate School Scholarship Programme and is aware of the scientific profileof the Graduate School Programme

+ Two letters of recommendation by different professors from the applicants homeuniversity which were issued within the past two years. #eferees may use either theDD etter of #ecommendation form$http!%%www.daad.de%imperia%md%content%de%foerderung%recommendation.pdf' or write

an original letter using the above mentioned criteria.

- Secondary school leaving certificate or high school diploma *ualifying you foradmission to higher education in your own country

- Transcripts or certificates of annual eaminations taken at the homeuniversity showing grades and an eplanation of the grading system
