There are lots of lakes in Scotland. The Scottish word for lake is "loch". Loch Ness is a famous lake.

Some people say there is a monster in that lake. The monster is called Nessie. Is Nessie a fish? A dinosaur? Nobody knows.

Castle Urœuhart is on Loch Ness. It is one of the oldest and biggest castles in Scotland. It is more than 800 years old.
