Blutspenden ist ein wichtiges öffentliches Gut• Medizinischer Sektor benötigt eine verlässliche Menge an Bluttransfusionen.Keine Substitute.
• Blutspenden sind in der Schweiz (und vielen anderen Ländern) freiwilligund unbezahlt.

Blutspenden bei SRK Blutspendedienst Zürich
Einladung zu Spende: ca. alle 6 Monate: persönliche Einladung zuBlutspende-Termin, ca. 3 Wochen im Voraus.
• Wir betrachten nur Einladungen zu Blutspendeaktionen (nicht in denBlutspendezentren).
Erinnerung an den Spende-Termin via SMS: Alle eingeladenen Spendererhalten diese SMS.
• Zwei Tage vor dem Spendetermin.

Telephonanrufe bei Knappheit von Bluttypen
Zusätzliche Massnahme: Anruf an einzelne Spender in Abhängigkeit von ihrerBlutgruppe.
• Anruf je nach Lagerbestand: jeden Tag sind andere Blutgruppen knapp.• Anruf: zwei Tage vor Blutspende, zusätzlich zum SMS.• Nachricht: Ihre Blutgruppe ist knapp, bitte kommen Sie.
I Anruf ist so gut wie zufällig, da er nur von Tages-Fluktuation inBlutgruppen abhängt.
Bruhin et al. (2015, Transfusion): starker Effekt auf Spende-Wahrscheinlichkeit• Erhöht die Spenderwahrscheinlichkeit von ca 30% auf 40%.
