PENTECOST SUNDAY In Acts 2:1-41 the Holy Spirit descended upon the Apostles. This occurred ten days after Jesus’ Ascension. Jesus had asked his Apostles to pray, and their nine days of prayer can be considered as the first novena. Naoma Jones – Funeral Mass May 29 th at St. Ignatius - Rosary 9:30 a.m.; Mass 10:00 a.m. SAN IGNACIO FIESTA JULY 24-25, 2021 St. Ignatius Parish is hosting the annual San Ignacio Fiesta Parade on Saturday, 7/24 at 10:00 a.m. and on Sunday 7/25 Mass, lunch & raffle. We will need volunteers to help with: Parade (Registration, line up and monitors). Parade Judges (3) Sunday Mass set up and take down. Lunch – still working on details. Raffle Prizes/cash, needed by May 30th. Thank you to those who have donted to the Raffle- you are great! We have an iPad, $500.00 Cash, Gas Grill, $100 Farmers Fresh Gift Card, Framed Photo, Quilt, Bookends w/ Books, and Cash donations. If you would like to help please sign up or call the office. COVID 19 UPDATES FROM BISHOP BERG MASS SIGN UP is no longer required but we will provide seating in the community room for social distancing. Per CDC and Bishop Berg – Masks are no longer required if you are fully vaccinated. If you prefer/need to wear a mask, please do so. Bishop Berg asks that we continue to receive communion in our hand. If you prefer to receive communion by mouth, please wait until the rest of the congregation has received communion. Please respect those who need social distance. Allow enough physical space between parties. It is recommended that families sit together in a pew.
